Ok, so I am back from my first kale experience. I chopped it fairly small and mixed it with other greens for a salad. Although it doesn't really have a flavor--a texture it does have! My 10 yr old daughter said, "this tastes like decoration" and that is when I realized what it reminded me of. You know that ruffly green plastic stuff they line the meats with in the deli. Yeah, it's maybe a few steps above eating that. I was sorta worried about how it would go thru the system but am glad to hear some of you healthier folks have digested a salad of it before.
But thanks for all the other ideas of how to eat it. Since I have a huge bag full of it I will try a smoothie and sauteeing it and check out the recommended web sites. Does anyone know if I can chop it and freeze it for the next time I am making soup?
Maybe just staring at it in the grocery store was smarter....

Thanks, hoopla1 - That is such a great video! Did the complete movie about the Zodiac Show ever get finished? If not, at least they got the best part done. 8-)

Yes, what maddie509 I absolutely agree with. Jordin is very talented and a very nice person. Interesting though, my hairdresser is her hairdresser : and often he out of town traveling with Jordin. I hate sharing Anyway, my hairdresser and his significant other went with me to see Adam here in Phoenix for the GNT concert. It was at the same venue where Jordin performed a short time before. Both of them were very impressed by the fact Adam had filled the venue and Jordin did not. Yes, Adam fans travel and love to see him perform live, but, still strange hometown girl could not have a sell out concert. We were one of his smaller concerts too, I believe capacity was less than 2000. Hi! Cayman! big wave to my fellow Phoenician. :-) I was surprised that Adam actually made an effort to come to our little backward desert last tour; when it comes to Adam's music or Adam news, it's a radio black-out here. But, you are so spot on about people wanting to see him live. Adam might never be one of those gazillion single, or album sellers, but people would always swarm to his concerts 'cuz he's one of the best, most exciting live performers evah!! and he sounds better than the CD!! :-) Hi! When I am radio surfing I still hear WWFM occasionally on 96.9. :D Yes, here in Phoenix we have not heard Adam on radio like many, many other cities. Sad to say, more than LA though, this time I hope both LA and PHX will start supporting him. If he comes back to PHX for another concert I am sure he will do well.

I make a Zuppa Toscana with kale that is delicious. If anyone is interested, pm me. I'm interested. Let me know next time you're gonna cook it and the Bama gurls will be sitting at your kitchen island waiting. ;D Arm pits - not sure about Irish buy mayumi is DEF an armpit woman! Shit. Armpits and kale in the same post. Don't know what to make of this thread today. Having never experienced kale, I guess I prefer armpits. And I really can't believe I just typed that.

Ok, I know there is a REASON why I never go to AO except for ordering stuff, which I just did. Even so, it still doesn't make any less painful. Love the whole black and yellow album theme and all, but boy, do I need a blinder?! Still love you to pieces though, Adam! just from "off-world"...lolo

Don't panic, they spun it almost too much right off the bat and are probably backing off a little but will pick up again closer to album drop. This is not unusual at all. So glad you posted this, I was musing over whether to have a nervous breakdown, and I simply haven't the time. So they ended up playing it twice so far. Hopefully we'll get one more in (I already called so I can't request again). I too was ready to have a nervous breakdown. :(
