The reason it lists Stronger as Nov 1st is because the album came out a few weeks before and of course the song is on the album. It was so popular, that it got a ton of downloads and some stations just started to play it. The official single, at that time, was still Mr Know It All. Stronger went for adds, in January, 2 weeks before Adam's Top 40 date for BTIKM. Kelly's song had 118 adds before her add date. But, please refer to my "don't panic" post a few pages back.  , you are Gandalf of the radio waves! You and Q3. Who would be Gandalf the Grey and who Gandalf the White, I wonder, out of the two of you? Joking aside, I just wanted to say I really appreciate the radio info. I thought it surpassed my mental abilities, but reading here about it, your patient and detailed explanations ( of both Gandalfs) started to come through to my brain. Thanks. Here's me not panicking 8-) If the video killed the radio star ( as in that song) , can the radio kill the video star? ??? ??? ??? I would prefer to be Merlin, thank you. |

My favorite part of the Kimmel Naked Love performance is when Adam hears the cheers after "take it off". He is just beaming with joy! Can't stop watching that part. It is such a fun song and I am going to be recklessly optimistic and predict that this song is going to have some impact! Hi Kay, I thought I would chime in (honoring your post on responding to other posts. That did resonate with me, as I often feel like I am dropping posts and no one notices.... But anyhoo) I am SO glad we have a HD, close up version of the Kimmel Naked Love. The sound is so clear and we get to see all in HD! Yes, we all did cheer when he sang "Take it off". I loved the smile and kind of laugh singing he does as a response. It was adorable. Your post prompted me to write and share about something that really stood out for me that night. You can't really hear it on this video and it is at the end of the song. This may have been only my experience, but I was a bit startled when he ended the song. We had never heard the song before in its entirety and I think we were all too busy singing "oooh oooh oooh, yeah yeah yeah". When he stopped we just kept on singing. On the THR video, you can't really tell, but if you find a fan vid, I think you can hear it. We were still singing and that is why he comes back and says "do it again" and sings with us. I am not sure if someone has said anything about this already, but I thought I would share, and maybe encourage you all to *study* the different versions of Naked Love.  Your post is noted. That song ended so abruptly on the vid I watched I wondered how it felt live. You've now told me. Thank you. |

Thanks usagi! I thought I'd first heard more singing from the crowd! I think it even surprised Adam how much fun NL was to sing live. It hadn't been my favorite, and really still isn't my typical song style. But I really love the lightness of it. And if this country would just listen to the music and not judge the lifestyle (a term I hate) then I think it would make a great single.
I am really excited for Chelsey Lately--besides being histerical, I think she get him. Well, she did most of the talking last time--but she was all possitive. I think now that Adam is more seasoned she will have met her match more.
I think this is just a sign... hold on to your hats

Ok, I know there is a REASON why I never go to AO except for ordering stuff, which I just did. Even so, it still doesn't make any less painful. Love the whole black and yellow album theme and all, but boy, do I need a blinder?! Still love you to pieces though, Adam! just from "off-world"...lolo gah...no kidding about needing the blinders. and then i get a pit in my stomach when they did not have the kiss concerts listed under Events. yikes Hope they are still just updating the site. Thanks Q3 and the mods for making Adamtopia the place i want to be for my Adam connection! p.s hi to the other inhabitants of the Valley of the Sun. |

Ok, so I am back from my first kale experience. I chopped it fairly small and mixed it with other greens for a salad. Although it doesn't really have a flavor--a texture it does have! My 10 yr old daughter said, "this tastes like decoration" and that is when I realized what it reminded me of. You know that ruffly green plastic stuff they line the meats with in the deli. Yeah, it's maybe a few steps above eating that. I was sorta worried about how it would go thru the system but am glad to hear some of you healthier folks have digested a salad of it before. But thanks for all the other ideas of how to eat it. Since I have a huge bag full of it I will try a smoothie and sauteeing it and check out the recommended web sites. Does anyone know if I can chop it and freeze it for the next time I am making soup? Maybe just staring at it in the grocery store was smarter.... You all know that Kale is not a magic vegetable.... and that juicing is not a long term solution for weight loss..... right? ??? |

Aww sorry your first kale experience was not memorable in a good way.. I don't like it raw in salads either, but if you try again to have it in a salad, try putting a little olive oil and salt over small bite size pieces of dino kale and using your hands, massaging the leaves. Grab leaves by the handfuls and massage them roughly. Within minutes, the stiff coarse leaves will become soft and silky, and you'll have 1/2 the volume of kale you started out with. Go light on the salt though.. start out with less salt. Here's the recipe from the Los Angeles Times.. Magic or not, I am not going to get it down my kids throats serving it the way I did tonight! I'd say kale and armpits in one post makes some sense burrito!
