Billboard Determines Us?
By Kevin Yeoh Wed 10:27 AM
We tend to complain about bad music we get on radio stations and what they project to us on TV, but the fact is, it happens everywhere in the world. Pop music is just that powerful, it’s almost like a chant to woo you into that world, but hey, nothing wrong with some mindless pop music. I may come off as a music snob, but I do enjoy my share of pop music and they are not as stupid as you think. Wait, they could be a little bit stupid.

Thanks for posting this! This guy is right on the money!
Looking at the nominees for Top 100 Song definitely resembles our radio airplays. “Rolling In the Deep”, “Party Rock Anthem”, “Moves Like Jagger”, “E.T.” and “Give Me Everything” need no introduction to who performs them. Then I skipped through the rest of the categories because it feels like a yawn fest and stopped at Top Dance Artist to see the nominees were David Guetta, Lady Gaga, LMFAO, Rihanna and Britney Spears. Scrolled over, and I see Top Rap Album nominations with LMFAO’s Sorry For Party Rocking, then LMFAO and Pitbull under Top Rap Song. I just want to cry. That’s the new definition of dance and rap music to the mass these days?
I'm so sick of all these artists and these awful songs, I could just scream! When I was out and about today, I kept switching the stations and every station had the same exact Adele, boy band, Fun, or Gotye garbage songs! >:( Finally, I just turned it off and rolled down my windows! It was so much better...until it started to rain. :(
ITA. And do they have to play Adele more than once an hour? Seriously, they have played her 25 times in less than 24 hours on Alice.
