Sade releases her album on May 8, and she opened with 502,000 first week sales with her last album on 2/9/10. But Sade's album is a live album so, I don't think she can sustain high sales into week 2. We shall see!  www.hitsdailydouble.com/sales/sales_ur.cgiThanks, Kanadie! I should have checked a better source. I heard about Sade's live album because a good friend is a big fan, but I had no idea when it was coming out. Hey, I was looking at her CD on Amazon this afternoon to see if I wanted to get it, but there were no snippets available yet. That's when I noticed that Amazon has the release date as May 22 (so does her website and a RS article I read just to double-check). So, at least (if the info is right) she won't be competition for Adam during her second week. With Carrie's third week drop, maybe it's looking pretty good for Adam to take the number one spot? These people teasing info about how great his CD is are really killing me. |
