AleksandraKv Meaning behind the words...OH yes... songs take us on a journey...our minds can take us wherever we want...Knowing how the words and the song resonated with you...I felt quite peaceful as I read your thoughts... I appreciated your risk in sharing your interpretation with us.(I also appreciated not having to make my brain work to hard to sort through intentions for words as I just got out of bed (haha) ) My first thought on diamonds was maybe too literal, but I wondered and was thinking of the union of marriage, and they can live a wonderful life without the ceremony... the diamond ring...another Outlaws of Love "connect/crossover". I am in awe of everyone who writes these beautiful words. Adam is an amazing song writer and all the wonderful fans here at Atop know how to interpret it all for us. I can't thank you enough for all of the written interpretations of such beautiful meaningful words. My eyes and heart are full. I am a mushy mess after reading the lyrics. Going back to hide again. Love you all.

Orihara Kaoru @oriharakaoru Ooh wait does this mean NCOE was played as part of Seacrest's AT40 show? As an extra maybe? That is an advertisement. But it could be part of a promo package. --- One way or another NCOE will be played on AT40 --- because it is going to make the US AT40 countdown. I bet it get played before it makes the show.

AlexandraKv. Beautiful post! I am in awe that you can express yourself so powerfully and so poetically in a different language! You international Atoppers inspire me! Adam's THANK YOU notes inspire me as well. Gratitude is one of the best things I've learned and continue to learn from him. I have expressed more genuine appreciation for people and for the things they do in the past few years than I ever did pre-Adam directly because of Adam's example, and it has brought me so many unexpected little joys. You get back what you give away. I sent emails to the parents of students who received A's on their exams yesterday after work. I felt so genuinely proud of these students and just wanted to share that with their parents. What a surprise this morning to find my inbox flooded with many lovely notes in return! Adam's very genuine and somehow personal expression of thanks to his fans, to the people he loves, and to the people with whom he creates floods the inbox of my heart with more lovely feelings and makes me want to do everything I can to help him find creative success and backing. Looks like my wallet will continue to fly open for Adam. That's one way I apparently let my freak flag fly. Lovely post, Lynne!!! Thank you for your kind words. This is not the first time that the foreign posters have been praised here. I can say for myself that it means a lot, I really appreciate it. No one has ever said that to me before. And Yay for your mailbox flooded with lovely notes! It must have felt great. That's why you should give As to every student Teaching is the best job in the world, isn't it?

Just reading Adam's sexay interview from that Swedish magazine. I assume this was a translation. He says, "You've gotta test something out before you say no," (he is referring to oral sex on a woman). Maybe he actually said, "You gotta try it once before you say no." This reminds me of what my mom used to say when I didn't want to eat something new!!! I wouldn't put it past Adam slip in a sexy double meaning. Please forgive me my dirty mind but this really gave me a chuckle!

You're SO right!!! Yes, they do not need to get married, i.e. to get their union acknowledged by the law to know that it's there. It didn't even cross my mind. Diamonds and rings. Stupid, materialistic, irrelevant symbols of the union of marriage.
