People on twitter are crying fowl that the album will be leaked on line later today! Is that true? After all of Adam's work!!  Leaking won't nullify Adam's work! All albums leak eventually, and it arrived at homes before any sort of leak so Trespassing was a bit of a victory as far as leaking goes  |

People on twitter are crying fowl that the album will be leaked on line later today! Is that true? After all of Adam's work!! It's not a leak if the album is already at peoples houses.... I do understand that but doesn't it hurt sales or do you think it helps with people hearing it? |

It really doesn't matter. Whoever is going to illegally download the cd is going to do it now or after the official release, whether the leaks will happen or not. ALL albums have leaks. It's actually really surprising that it's taken so long. Adam and his team already did an amazing job keeping it secret for so long. |

It's not a leak if the album is already at peoples houses.... I do understand that but doesn't it hurt sales or do you think it helps with people hearing it? Leaking and file sharing hurts all sales... but since it affects everyone it all balances out. |

A "leak" of the album will not hurt Adam or sales. It will just build buzz for the album. The album will be available on torrents for free anyway. And passed person to person.
There will be a legal stream of the album in a couple days anyway.
Some Twitter fans are just worrying over nothing. They want a private leak that they can hear but not a public leak.
The biggest selling albums are readily available for free. They still sell.
Most of Adam's income will come from concerts anyway -- and that requires people to want to see him live -- and to hear the music.
