Hi Guys, I just looked through the thread. Am I still the only one with this box set??? I had to laugh that someone thought I might be Adam leaking the liners. Far, far from it!!! I just had a chance to watch the dvd and I loved that too. Kanadie asked about it and he is really going to like the time spent in the recording studios. We get to see the some behind-the-scenes during the making of Trespassing; Cukoo (I'm assuming the girl with the pink hair is Bonnie McKee); a bit of Outlaws of Love (Adam talks about feeling unhappy and looks so sad); and lots of Naked Love (Benny Blanco looks like a fun guy). The there is behind-the-scenes of the video shoot -- I think it might be an extended version of what we have already seen (and bought!) Then we get the BTIKM video -- it was fun to see it on my big screen tv. I really love that video.  *whimpers* That's awesome, Happy!!! It is really amazing how you seem to be the only one in the world at this point (or the only one who is Internet connected in any way). Wow, what are the odds??? |

OT Anyway while watching, I couldn't stop picturing Adam wearing this shirt, the symmetrical shirt that the guy with the long yellow tipped bangs is wearing. Of course it'll be all black, but for some reason it's in my head. I think it would look nice paired with his leopard pants. ;D Thanks for posting, marie23! I love these guys! But what I REALLY LOVE are those cool yellow flower glow stick thingies that everyone in the audience is waving around. I WANT SOME OF THESE RFN. Where can we get them???? |

I wonder what category Billboard will put TRESPASSING in ?
Amazon has it listed as Pop > Adult Alternative, Alternative Rock and Rock .
There is an outside chance that it could get classified as Alternative -- that is Billboards Alt Rock Album chart. (It deserves to be classified as alt IMHO but I think pop-bias will keep it out.)
And I would love to see it chart on the Tastemaker Album chart -- that is from selected Independent Record Stores.

My daughter suggested that I change my avatar to one of the new pics in this box and watch how the fandom erupts. We laughed because we both knew exactly which one to use. But I won't. I told her his official site is publishing the pics.

I know we can't compare Adam to Adele, but Adele, had one song that brought people in listening to her, it was Rolling in the Deep that catapulted her and sent her sales out of control because it is a good album, and radio played the crap out of her songs. I just hope and wish the same could happen for Adam!!!!Adam has the voice and he has some pretty phenomenal songs. I am hoping all his karma bank will pay him back in spades. I share your hopes for Adam -- I will be very happy if TRESPASSING goes Platinum in the US. That will be a huge accomplishment. RITD was one of those cross-genre mega hits that happen so rarely. And 21 has sold over 21 million copies worldwide. Already 9xP in the US -- and still selling 80K a week in the US almos. No one is gonna replicate this. Not even Adele. Note -- her 2008 debut album sold 6.5 million copies -- so not exactly from nowhere. |
