That is the only opening on any show on 5/15 that I can find but if Adam was booked for that show, why would it be a TBA? My guess is that he will do Chelsea Lately and then no other TV performances before Idol. They will try to build that up as a big event. Lisa Marie Presley is also on the same Idol show as Adam, but her new single and album are targeted to the Triple A and Country markets. And the single was pushed to Triple A and has 4 adds, little airplay. I am interested to see who performs first on this show -- I hope Adam is later in the show for viewers but I want him first so I do not have to watch the whole thing. I remember something after his last idol performance, that Adam could not appear on tv for like 10 days. Had something to do with his performance contract. Maybe it's the same this time, and as such must wait until June for tv appearances. But June he is in the UK, practicing with Queen. He has a full plate until after the last Queen concert in July. I have never heard of such a contract and can't imagine anyone demanding or agreeing to such a thing especially when trying to launch a major project. For instance, here is a brief summary of Carrie's TV appearances, which are more or less standard for a major-label release (and this isn't all of them, I don't think). www.cmt.com/news/news-in-brief/1684013/carrie-underwood-plans-tv-appearances.jhtmlCarrie Underwood will promote Tuesday's (May 1) release of her new album, Blown Away, with multiple TV appearances in the coming weeks. On Monday (April 30), Good Morning America offered an exclusive interview. Also on Monday, she will sing on The Late Show With David Letterman, in addition to a Live on Letterman webcast concert. On Tuesday, she returns to Good Morning America for an outdoor concert in Times Square. Additional TV appearances include American Idol on Thursday, The Ellen DeGeneres Show on May 9, Jimmy Kimmel Live on May 10, Dancing With the Stars on May 15 and the Billboard Music Awards on May 20. Yes, I know Carrie is Carrie yada yada, but many of the not as established artists get similar schedules and the point is, I can't imagine anyone would ever agree to a moratorium on TV appearances because you're on one show (especially a show that you would have been on regardless). Adam doesn't have to make "special deals" to get a spot on Idol.

If I remember correctly, I believe that SNL was offered to Adam at one point however they wanted to focus on gay jokes which he did not want to do. I have no sources, but I think I remember him saying something to that effect. He talks about stereotypes and SNL in this interview, but just says possible SNL. Maybe there is another interview that he talks about it as well. Yes lyris thank you this is the interview and to me it surely sounds like about an SNL appearance but he denied the offer because of the gay jokes, otherwise I don't see the reason why he mentioned the specific show.

illuxxia @illuxxia Adam Lambert on the The Voice TV Finland today (Liv interview cont'd): ETA The biggest part of this interview is new stuff The Popcorn programme is broadcasted actually on TV5 (not The Voice TV) and it has short segments of what is happening in the entertainment right now. I have a hard time figuring out when is the first airing and what are reruns. Illuxxia has dated the YT video May 4 and programme guide shows Popcorn at 2.55 am (literally May 5). I cannot get today's info, maybe there was a rerun. However, there will be a rerun tomorrow morning at 9.15. ETA I suspect the May 4 (or 5) was a rerun of last week's programme because I cannot believe that the first airing would be in the middle of the night. So, if the programme was on today that would be the first airing with a rerun tomorrow morning... and maybe later this week. Anyway, Adam is out there on our tv, nice!

^^^^^ me too! I am really kinda surprised that someone hasn't put the songs up yet. Did Happy say her box sex arrived via UPS? Yes it came by UPS in a very big box -- much bigger than the box set. I also had ordered some extra cds and they were in there too. Just want to say again for anyone who is waffling about buying the box set, DO IT. It really is beautiful and high quality. As I said, some metalic bits on the outside of the box -- surrounding his image, his zipper and his eyes which look so amazing as you turn the box in the light. The lithos are beautiful. The pics in the album liners are fun: one is Adam in crazy glasses wearing what I might call a "designer straight jacket"(though it stops at his shoulders): the other is Adam in a homage to Native Americans and Burning Man. I hope I'm not giving too much away, but just want to spread the word on how awesome this box set is. I'm in love with it ... and then there is the music!!!!!!!

I'm really trying not to -- but if you can afford it (and it really doesn't cost that much), it is so worth the money!!!!

Am I the only one who doesn't like the picture on the back cover?
I don't see much angst. For me this is the fun part (besides getting the album, of course) because it is all anticipation without the worry over sales, reviews, chart position, etc.
