I'm sorry for being OT, finally as usual... I'd like to know your answer to one grammar question. The native English speakers, please, can you tell me what's the precise difference between the usage of the Posssessive Genitive Case and Of-genitive? Aaaaand this is why native English speakers often suck at their own language. Ame, bb, I have never heard of the grammar terms you have just used. I don't think **WE** get taught that in school! ETA: corrected for poor grammar  |

Usually the possessive is expressed with of when the possessor is not alive (the top floor of the building, the base of the statue as opposed to Lynne's floor, Lynne's statue.) |
