Adam #2 on AfterElton's list of Top Gay Celebrities

Adam Lambert (January 29, 1982 - age 29) was the runner up on the eighth season of American Idol. He came out officially in an interview with Rolling Stone soon after the competition ended. He released his debut album, For Your Consideration in late 2009 and embarked on a worldwide tour to support it. He is currently at work on a second studio album. He is ranked tenth on AfterElton's list of the Top 50 Gay Male Musicians.

just finished reading yesterday's thread and have been thinking about the things that his fans want him to do/be and not want him to do/be. Each have their own opinions for example what would create the best music which is the most important thing to many, as it should be.

I'm so glad that Adam really isn't a puppet whose strings each fan can pull this way and that way according to each one of thems likings :D. It really would be a major mess!! Just imagine how many strings would be attached! Poor fellow would be all knotted up and pieces torn apart. And all just for everyone wanting him to do something awsome and hoping the best for him.

As he has said himself - it is HIS life, but he is thankful of the interest the fans show towards it. He makes the decisions himself and like anyone else's personal decisions they might be right or wrong and affect his life accordingly. He has every right to that, as he is living his own life.

He creates the music or part of the music from his own experiences and imagination because he wants to do his album that way now, instead of getting everything ready made by someone else leaving him just the part to sing the stuff. His music, his album, his life

His personal life is part of this all and a ground for it all. He is a grown up person so he makes his own choices. Life is sometimes unpredictable and won't happen when expected and will happen when unexpected. You just can't time it with your calendar. Makes the life all more interesting and exciting.

Taking sometimes risks is good for you - at least I think it is better to have tried something out rather than be sorry for not having done something until it is way too late. It all could go wrong but hey, that's a priceless life experience anyway and there is always the future ahead for more of those. If you are that kind of a person, I mean

I'm waiting for the next album, very curiously indeed but patiently also. (But I kind of REALLY like the idea of more leather 8-) )I trust he is doing his damn best anyway, like he always does. It will be different to the last one, as from the next one after that. He likes to try different things and styles, he is a rolling stone.

Enough of this rambling now ??? and I won't do it again.

OT Back to my new home Lurkdom, and to RL now and out with the dogs. Having a couple days vacation now so time is my own - ahhhh!

New IS-Tutka will be out this evening with more info about the Road Show, if anyone is interested in. I'm aware that news here should be just Adam related and opinions differ if Sauli news belong here at all.
