Just listened to Runnin for the 100th+ time and the vocal just drives me insane! This vocal is so worthy of a Grammy and it probably could never happen because it will never be a single! Morning Mys*&@^#r! Apparently it doesnt have to be a single to get a grammy - though most are. I LOVE Running. the words are epic. Its bigger than one bad love affair. This is intense shiz. I love the beginning - its like a film, like a dream my fave line: ive been standing here my whole life... building up to that chorus... AGREE!!!! I love RUNNIN! Best track on the album, IMO. Ashame it is a bonus track, hope peeps are smart enough to buy the Delux Ed. I don't know about grammy eligibility, does it have to be a hit single to be put up for a grammy? I would love for Adam to get a Grammy for being the Executive Producer of Trespassing. He so deserves it! |

Me too!! Will never get through a quarter of this thread as I'm dead tired from a Trespassing hangover, but I'll try working my way backward until I crash. Welcome all de-lurkers!!! So awed and amazed by this album. He effing KILLED it. No. Words. Sooooo happy for and proud of him. Already the flail I've been seeing ALL DAY on Twitter by non-fans is unbelievable. SO EXCITED!!!!  |

An interesting question is which songs from FYE will be in Adam's new set list? He almost has to do WWFM and IIHY. But then what? I think that this new lineup could do a killer job with Sleepwalker and thematically Aftermath fits in with Trespassing. But what will he pick? --- My sort of cause he's married to me Adam fan, music expert, rock oriented SO highly approves of three tracks on Trespassing -- Broken English, Underneath and Running. Good taste IMO. --- I am wondering what it means about me that my fav track from FYE was Broken Open, and on Tres it is Broken English? And does this mean that there will be a track titled Broken China on his next album? It will of course be a dance track!! Q3, I love Broken English too. Not sure why but the tune just stays with me. Of course, there is the back story too to make it special! I also love his little chuckle in Naked Love. yeah that chuckle that "huh" is great. |

I wonder about the rest of the songs that don't make the album. They're on the shelf right now and Adam said that would be great if other singers interested to use them. But then again, he wrote the songs based on his vocal range, now WHO other singers can sing his songs???? {I know they probably will have to tweak it and make some adjustment  } From Adam's interviews, he spent a tremendous amount of time "tweaking" his songs, everything from the music to the beat to the base line, the electro stuff, etc. These songs are pure GENIUS!!!!!!! If others record some of the other stuff, sure it won't be as "Adam" and as ..........................words fail: great, progressive, new, hot, stunning.................take your pick. Yep.. but I'm talking about all his other songs that don't make the album. Who other singers out there that can sing his range other than the DIVAs, unless they make some adjustment so it can fit someone's vocal range. |
