All I can say is that Mr. Lambert said he was going to let us in and, boy, did he! I do feel like I've trespassed into some of his inner feelings. Man, he laid it right out there for us. Whew. Welcome to his world of truth. I said this on one page 1 of the thread this morning and I'll repeat it 100 pages later. He's given us both a Masterpiece and a piece of the Master. |

I love the entire album! I can't wait to hear it in high quality sound from from the CD. One of my teenage son's listened to a few of the songs with me and now wants the entire album on his Ipod. I told him he needs to wait until I receive a hard copy of the CD.

Looks like we're going to get to page 100!! And I've read every post today; every page. Which tells you about my priorities in life right now! Here I sit, at this trusty computer, surrounded by Adam's Charity Water photo, a signed M&G photo from GNL in Las Vegas, an 8"by 11" blow-up of the Trespassing CD cover (made by a particularly patient and darling DH) and an empty wine bottle that was signed by Adam's Unca Dave. I love this little hovel. My own precious Rabbit Hole. Adamtopia completes the picture. Muah!!! Awww i really like this picture of you and where you are that you describe. Im sitting on my bed, the curtains are still drawn even tho its morning. My remains of my breakfast oats and mango are in a bowl on my pillow. I still have to have my shower and am wondering if my ipod will survive the rain of water. One one side of the bed, I have a dressing table on which I put objects that mean a lot to me (my altar') and in amongst the lotus flower and icon of a dancing shiva is a printed out picture of Adam, Just to remind me of his ineffable beauty. Anjalee - Thank you! I could call this 'my altar'. I also display a book of photos of Adam that was sent to me by another 'Topian'; as well as a lovely card from my Kindred Spirit, who I met at a GNL Costa Mesa concert in 2010; photos of my DH and my son - both of whom look amazingly like AFL! - and a printout of the certificate I earned from the website 'After Elton', when I scored 100 out of 100 in the "How Well Do You Know Adam Lambert" quiz! You paint a portrait, with your oatmeal and mango, getting ready for the day ahead. Here we are, half a world away from one another, and I can picture you so well. So many connections come together through our love of Adam. I have yet to find the words to adequately describe his new music. I may never find them; they may forever dance inside my head, eluding translation. But, in knowing that connections are made, just like this one, tonight, somehow brings meaning and desire and love into one shared, universal experience. We all see the same stars. We all feel the rain. |
