My DVD hasn't shipped yet from Amazon, but I'm not stressing - EVERY item I have ever pre-ordered from Amazon (books & music) have arrived exactly on the release day. I *think* that these copies get counted as release day sales by soundscan as long as they are shipped for "expected arrival" on release day. If AO is using the postal service, they can probably "estimate" 4-5 days shipping so they are OK going out today. OT: I have a TOTALLY off-topic question for our members from Greece  My insanely well traveled son will be heading to Greece next week with my parents. My mother is stressing over how much cash to bring. Will they be able to use US Dollars at all? Would it be OK to tip someone like a tourbus driver in dollars or should that be only done in Euros? Their last few trips have been Mexico, Egypt & China and they were able to use dollars for tipping in all those locations, but its not clear what is OK for Greece... Is it evil to be totally jealous of my own 11yo? ;D |

Yeah, my DVD package has been send out- I just hope it will arrive until thursday, 24 because I am on holidays for one week after that. Sorry but the MTV voting is fishy IMO. There is no way Adam is so much behind with all the Glamberts voting. I Just kept voting and Adam lost points while I was on it. Collaboration - my dream is a remake of "Under Pressure" with Robbie Williams. I would love hearing how their voices match together and for me as someone familiar with all the RW excentricities it would be interesting to see how these strong characters get along. Also it would mean a No 1 hit for Adam in many European countries, NZ, Australia and Asia. I like Alison and her voice and if Adam is so excited to work with her I am all for it. I have been gone for a couple of hours so if I am way behind on posting....apologies please....and scroll is your friend! I forgot all about Robbie Williams....he would be a perfect collaborator! I don't know about performing as their vocals are quite different...but he is huge in the UK from what I understand...and he is a terrific songwriter. I love his stuff....if he and adam could write something like "Feel" or "Come Undone" I would be over the moon...they are terrific songs...and lots of other stuff....don't know why I didn't think of him. I do take credit for being the first to suggest Elton John and it is good to see some of you agree. The thing for me is that those two can really write MELODIES....and Adam is great with words and a great interpretor...and we know he much prefers to collaborate than to labour away all by himself in a studio so.... WIN WIN WIN... then we bring in Mark Ronson to produce the whole thing and OMG....THINK OF IT...I GET ALL EXCITED JUST IMAGINING... can't you tell....ok...have to go now.....sigh....wish I could just completely retire and boss people about....Adam...do as you are told....we are pretty smart around here you know...HAHAHAHA ;D ;D ;D  :-/  |

I like Alisan, I like girl screamers as well as guy screamers  Just did a quick Speed read. I wouldn't mind Adam writing with Elton John but I would prefer a duet to be sung with someone of his generation and not old farts like me. ;D And he can pick anyone he likes to duet with. |

Only singers who have the vocal chops to sing next to Adam and/or an attitude that is less than 100% bottom-line ('cuz radio has yet to wildly embrace him) would, IMO, collab with him. I think that narrows the list . . . only the realistic (IMO) list, though, not a dream one.
