My DVD hasn't shipped yet from Amazon, but I'm not stressing - EVERY item I have ever pre-ordered from Amazon (books & music) have arrived exactly on the release day. I *think* that these copies get counted as release day sales by soundscan as long as they are shipped for "expected arrival" on release day. If AO is using the postal service, they can probably "estimate" 4-5 days shipping so they are OK going out today. OT: I have a TOTALLY off-topic question for our members from Greece My insanely well traveled son will be heading to Greece next week with my parents. My mother is stressing over how much cash to bring. Will they be able to use US Dollars at all? Would it be OK to tip someone like a tourbus driver in dollars or should that be only done in Euros? Their last few trips have been Mexico, Egypt & China and they were able to use dollars for tipping in all those locations, but its not clear what is OK for Greece... Is it evil to be totally jealous of my own 11yo? ;D pjd i really dont know what to say about this.Dont want to say something that is wrong but why wouldnt be OK??I mean they are US dollars!! Gelly - Thank you for any input! I guess the question is would it be a major pain for the person receiving the tip not having it in Euro? I would assume that shops and restaurants would require Euro (although if they take credit cards, they will do that as it is much more convenient). In the USA, everything is expected to be in dollars and tipping someone in another currency would be really weird. However, in Mexico, Egypt & China using dollars for tipping and even small purchases from street vendors seemed to be perfectly acceptable. I've never been to Greece, but I guess I would expect it to be more like the USA...

Received my email notice for the DVD. Would love a dream duet with Prince. JUMPING IN AGAIN!! haha....Now this would be very cool!! I would love this one too. He has spoken of Sia and I love her music...and own a few numbers...but they are not the stuff of huge hits...they are the gorgeous tunes you wish would be huge hits...but aren't. Like Soaked or Broken Open or Aftermath. Like her song xtina sings...You Lost Me...it is amazing. Like Gaga's Speechless. I do not understand why these songs do not get airplay...if a station played these, I might actually turn the radio on instead of play my own CD's all the time! sigh.... :-/ :-/

It is hard for these people to go to the bank and change the money. There is usually a charge. Since Greece is part of the EEU, Euros are used and then there is no question as to the denomination. Right now the dollar is not strong against the Euro. I bought Euro's on my trip to LA to see Adam in Dec, 2010 for a trip in July, 2011 to Italy. The dollar was strong at that point. Remember everything in Europe in quite expensive and ecasue our dollar is not strong, it will seem really expensive.

I see what you mean. First of all every shop and restaurant has credit cards.Maybe in other times it would be a major pain for the person that receives the tip.BUT with the financial problems that Greece is having the last 2 years it would be hard to imagine this happening...

wonderstruck The problem IMO is that you both used the word hate to describe the feelings that some people have here for Alisan. IMO there is a HUGE difference between dislike a voice and hate. And of course everyone is allowed to voice their opinion but not twist the words and feelings. The use of the word "hate" to me is used to describe negative comments towards a person, much the way we say that Moser hates Adam. Much the way we say Kris' fan hate Adam. Do we really believe Moser or Kris' fans actually hate Adam or do we use the word hate for their constant negative barbs against Adam? That is what I am referring to when I say Alisan received "hate" here. I don't think anyone hates Alisan as a person or at least I hope they don't since I don't think anyone here knows her personally. Just as hope no one really hates any of the people they say "OMG I hate (fill in the blank)" Now as for who I'd like to hear Adam duet with... Kelly Clarkson. I love her voice and she's consistently brilliant and really does well with collaborations.

I am not Greek but I have spend holidays in Greece and can only speak from my experience - but the taxi/bus drivers, waiters, hotel employees wanted to be paid/given tip in Euros. There were some guests from non-Euro countries and they had to change money. It was an island - things could be different in big cities. So Adam is not working with ALisan - who could it be then? He is so secretive but excited.......! 8-)
