OT but would anyone have a link to a mp4 of Adam's AI Aftermath appearance? I downloaded a HD version into my itunes but it didn't go to my 'music playlist' so I couldn't put it on my ipod. It went to the 'movies section' and I forgot how I converted it from movies to the 'music video section' that also puts it in the 'music section' so I can but it on my pod. And I don't think my pod can use HD versions. :-/ I'm probably not making any sense here. :  So if someone has a mp4 of the AI Aftermath that's not HD I'd appreciate it. I'm not sure where the link is to that one, but it doesn't sound like the one you want. |

Owsley Townsend, grandson of a former Kentucky govenor died today at the age of 76 in Qeensland, OZ in a car accident. He was the sound man for the Grateful Dead and was the biggest supplier of LSD. He sold millions of pounds of this stuff and was singlely instrumental in creating the drug infused Dead Head concerts along with being the main supplier of LSD in my generation.

Am watching E News and they were running through new music available, and they showed the AI 10th anniversary CD, then showed clips from Carrie (Before He Cheats), Kelly C., Daughtry, and Adam! They showed 2 clips from WWFM vid.

Gelly - Thank you for any input! I guess the question is would it be a major pain for the person receiving the tip not having it in Euro? I would assume that shops and restaurants would require Euro (although if they take credit cards, they will do that as it is much more convenient). In the USA, everything is expected to be in dollars and tipping someone in another currency would be really weird. However, in Mexico, Egypt & China using dollars for tipping and even small purchases from street vendors seemed to be perfectly acceptable. I've never been to Greece, but I guess I would expect it to be more like the USA... Pjd - When in Rome do as the Roman's do. Use Greek money. It is hard for these people to go to the bank and change the money. There is usually a charge. Since Greece is part of the EEU, Euros are used and then there is no question as to the denomination. Right now the dollar is not strong against the Euro. I bought Euro's on my trip to LA to see Adam in Dec, 2010 for a trip in July, 2011 to Italy. The dollar was strong at that point. Remember everything in Europe in quite expensive and ecasue our dollar is not strong, it will seem really expensive. We were in Paris,Bruges and Amsterdam last year and nobody would take American dollars. We ran out of Euros and wanted to tip our Dutch waitress and she said next time and wouldn't take our U.S. Currency. This was a first for us.. we were always able to use American dollars when we traveled before. |

Adam's voice is so beautiful, I don't want him sharing vocals with ANYONE on the album. He wants harmony on a track? Add it in his own voice. The only reason I can see for doing a duet with someone is to get the PR attention. Fine, do a special performance with Queen, Elton, Christina, Beyonce, whomever. But the album is Adam's!!! This... Adam doing backup vocals for Adam is my favorite part of the FYE CD in regard to how it was produced in that aspect. |

Damn, no e-mail for me yet! I knew I shouldn't have upgraded when they sent me that e-mail last weekend. Now I'm probably at the bottom of the list! :( I haven't gotten an email either! im still confused about the upgrade thing. Is it for people that just got the dvd and wanted to upgrade to the tour pack...not something special that is added extra with the tour pack! No email for me yet, either. :( |

Thanks, 4msrmyn. I finally got AI Aftermath into my iPod! The guy from AppleCare said you can't put HD mp4 vids on the iPod Classic so I have to find mp4's that'll work. All of you probably already know this but you find a video download on the INTERNET and put it in Automatically Add To iTunes. It goes to iTunes MOVIES where you Right Click it and when the window pops up you click OPTIONS and you'll see MEDIA Choice and choose MUSIC VIDEOS, click it and it is now in your music videos and will sync to your iPod! Since it's a slow day thought maybe someone else might not know this and find it helpful. |
