gosh, I was just kidding!! peeps here, me included, are always quite.. ahem.. enthusiastic about adam's sex appeal. I'm sorry Oh, no no! I'm fine, I knew you were kidding! I just sometimes feel myself so "primitive" what comes to for example Adam's sex appeal. I think you guys are so correct and sober, always so nice and I think just...sex... I need something to cool me down now : Well idk. I like that you're in touch with your primal instinct. Like Adam is.

Hmm..I'm not sure if that NyDailyNews review is high praise or not. A bit confused regarding the last paragraph... It's extremely high praise. The latter cut means to reveal Lambert’s inner life, his secret vulnerability. While in reality he must have some, his deepest value as a singer, and a star, is his riveting certitude. That’s both politically potent (given his role as an out gay man), and artistically riveting: It’s the sound of liberation achieved. He's talking about Adam's confidence and conviction as his greatest assets. Adam has transcended stereotypes and shackles thru the sheer force of his talent and personality. Duh, silly me, I meant the 2nd to last paragraph, about the shrieking, and demented wailing. But I'm being nitpicky. It's a good, actually great review. This is when the fun comes in, reading all of these great reviews!

The NYDaily review is a great review, but.
I think he gets Underneath wrong and misrepresents it.
His attunement seems to be more to Adam's joyous, vigorous side.

The reviews are brilliant so far, aren't they... I'll be free to say that we won't be facing any bad ones... The only fortress left to conquer is the US Radio. I've been thinking about that stream in Trespassing, from point 1, which is Trespassing, to the last one, point 15, Nirvana. T being the fiercest, the edgiest, the most extrovert, in your face ... of the songs, which is exactly how the general audience perceives Adam... while Nirvana is the most hidden, the furthest from the reality, piece of his being. The thing is that the middle of the album, and therefore Adam, is not in the middle at all... It's way closer to point 1, which took me by surprise... The journey through the core of the album, funky, dancey fun, gently slips into something I find the greatest asset of this album: the essence of Adam, his innermost feelings, be they love, despair, joy, sorrow... regarding both his relationship(s) and , which is also very important, the distorted perception of himself he believes general audience has, or parts of it... It really bothers him, it's so obvious in the album, and he pointed that out in several interviews. This shows how deeply emotional he is, and how that fierce track 1 image is a much smaller part of him than the part illustrated and displayed in a larger chunk of the 'dark' side. I'm not saying 'fierce' Adam is just a show, no, but it is just a tip... and underneath is the most tender man there is. I'm starting to resent that qualification, 'dark', although it came from him... Because, although it contains, among others, the emotions of the 'negative' spectre, I cannot feel or think anything other than 'light' when I hear it. This abum illuminates many corners of his being, I won't say all just because he has many, many albums to create yet:) So the man of such vocal virtuosity has made me stand in awe, love and admire his lyrics and delicateness of his soul before the voice. How awesome is that. I'm stunned. I adore the dancing, funny gifs of today's thread, but so far, this is what I've been doing while listening to Trespassing : Happy birthday skylar, misspeech, christine5850, jamafanta, fightthesleep!!!!!!!!!!!

LOOK at this review in the NY Daily News!!! 4 out of 5 stars!! It's fantastic in a "big picture" sense. www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/music-arts/album-review-adam-lambert-trespassing-article-1.1072512On Adam Lambert’s new CD, he sings about barging through boundaries, crossing all lines, and being a flagrant “outlaw of love.”
“No trespassers/Yeah, my ass,” he declares in the title track.
“Walk that walk/Like u don’t give a f—,” he asserts in the next track. “U got a right to turn it up.”
Sound like the fighting words of a righteous activist? True, Lambert’s new lyrics can roil with earned anger on the page. But, once sung, they tell a different story. His vocals exude such confidence, freedom and charm, it makes it seem like there’s no need for the revolution he annnounces. It feels like he’s already won the fight.
MoreTHIS IS A GREAT REVIEW!! 4/5 stars from NYPost is the same as the gave Adele's 21: www.nypost.com/p/entertainment/music/adele_comes_up_winner_with_g9arceiSWbU1zr0aWkw4DJ
