Here's my take on ZIAT:
Adam has a voice like a god, i.e. Zeus. He also is one hedonistic over the top performer that oozes sex, thus the ref to him wearing a thong, which is most revealing. I think Rob Sheffield read the interview with Adam before he wrote his review. Adam talks about orgies.....................

OKay, maybe I am dense, but what does "Singing like Zeus in a thong" actually mean. Yes RS gave it 4 stars (major squeeing, since Adele only got 3 nd half) , but the disco cheeseball reference, etc. - not liking. He tries to be too cute and too cool for school with his description. If I were a novice not knowing who AFL was, my response would be WTF??? what is this guy trying to say. That is this writer's style - a little over the top but quite expressive. lol. If I'm correct, he's the one who wrote about Adam being a rock god and saving Idol (before Adam was on the cover). He really likes Adam. Odd phrasing here, but think it's clear he likes it. Often people only look at the stars anyway. Personally, I think Zeus in a thong sounds hot!! ;D Isn't Rob Sheffield also that one who said all those good things about Adam, in that VH1 countdown of songs in 2010? I remember that WWFM and IIHY were in that countdown, and if I can remember correctly, he said something to the effect that "everyone loves Adam Lambert, how can you not love Adam, grandmas, mamas, children all love him. That he just radiates joy." Yeah I think he really like Adam, lol. |

Gelly - I think it's time to put some headphones on and let AFL "LAY YOU DOWN, LAY YOU DOWN!!!"  ETA: Surprised no one is commenting on Adam's revelation that he had sex with a woman - put is not commenting 'cause it's personal. 8-) Gotta respect someone who knows how to keep it personal - bet that's why we haven't seen kiss and tell stuff - others respect him for that, too. OOPS - I see others said it too, and better :-/ |

Packing a show for queen and adam lambert tomorrow. ??? ??? I see Kanadie hasn't come back with a final answer on this but I will put in my two cents. This is yet another case of mistaken identity. The Queen Extravaganza is touring starting May 26th, they started off rehearsing in Toronto but according to a recent article "Taylor and the group will move to Montreal next for full-blown production rehearsals leading up to the May 26 launch in Quebec City." Since he says "packing a show" I think they are packing the production for the move from Toronto to Montreal. |

I don't expect to hear anything until the morning when the guys are back at work. You are probably right about the Queen Extravaganza, but the guy does say Queen & Adam, so that is pretty specific. |

I've sent my husband to Barnes & Nobel but they don't have it yet - still the Obama issue, my husband said! I went to Barnes and Nobles and the salesperson said the next shipment is due in on Thursday, and that RS mag will likely be in that shipment. |
