Maybe she is just calling a new condo an apt. When Leila adotped that dog a few months back, I was pretty sure she had moved to one of the beach communities.  Adam is so good to his Mom. Didn't he get her a BMW convertable recently? Wow. He loves his mom forever. I just looked at Elisse's blog and saw this cute para A couple days ago I agreed to help out on a photo shoot with Neil. My job consisted of grocery runs, making sure the food table was fully stocked and clean, wondering around taking iphone photos, and watching dancers get their pictures taken. And also, sneaking off to a corner and reading my new book. It was a full day, and I don’t think a career in craft services is in my future, but I really enjoyed watching Neil in action. So cute. i love that oscar the grouch Neil helps his bro out like this!!! and there's a nice pic there of of Neil and others (from the back) and the stone-washed atmosphere of the shoot. |

ame, I am on twitter, just because of Adam. There are a lot of cool people out there. I recommend following @hooplamagnet. Basically it's a twitter account that is affiliated with a live journal account. These peeps do an awesome job just reporting the news, the facts, the downloads and the videos. It's all they do. No conversation to pick through, just the good stuff, totally devoted to Adam. @talcvids is great too. These ladies are devoted to producing incredible fan videos of any show that hits the East Coast. I love those girls. They are skilled. Another one you want to follow is terra_zephead She converts and cleans up youtubes to mp3's and mp4's. She is fast, efficient and almost always on twitter! I am @austingrrl3. Feel free to follow me and I will follow you back, although I am not much of a daily poster, I do get out there occasionally and retweet the good stuff. Have fun! |

I hope Take Back isn't getting overlooked cause I am really starting to love it. He is really letting us in on this one. Listen to the words. It's really Adam: "all I ever do is over think" And his dating history : "you never give back" and "as long as you get it out of me" Glimpses of first falling in love: "remember the first time we collided"and "used to be we owned the night" The process of holding on: "we know how to talk it into the ground", "how do we take back" The heartbreak: "we lost it" , "I would give anything just to chase the dark away" Then listen to how he sings the last tender lines: "oh my(?)" and "how do we take back" It's pure Adam. He poured it all out on this one and I am glad to hear him be not only sad but a bit angsty about it. And of course the multi-layered vocals are gorgeous! I really like the song, and think the lyrics are pretty perfect. "We used to be a jungle, sticky and wild, it used to be we owned the night" and "Remember, remember the first time we collided? We lost it, we lost it" Still trying to figure out the meanings of "I fed you a fantasy but you been drunk on reality" Count me in as a person who LOVES this song from the first listen. I am not sure why it is that I love this song so much, I just do. I think "I fed you a fantasy but you been drunk on reality" might be referring to one partner thinking all is fine and the other seeing the writing on the wall. A relationship cannot survive this much imbalance. If this is about Adam and Brad, rumor has it that Brad broke it off with Adam. Who among us hasn't burned a relationship, romantic or otherwise, that we look back on with so much regret? That is probably why I love this so much, I can relate to it, unfortunately. |

cherry, there are a few that are waiting, I can't remember names though. You are not alone. However, AO is streaming the whole album, and the sound is fantastic! Also, Adam had a twitter party yesterday (link on p.1) about the music, he's excited about the fans hearing it. Okay, I never identified myself as such, but I was "holding out" on listening until yesterday. I seem to have a theory in life that the more emotional pain I inflict upon myself, the more I will appreciate the outcome. Well, anyway I abandoned that theory and finally listened last night to the most beautiful music ever heard or pulled into one's being. But that is not all I am doing. I went out and bought 3 remaining FYE Cds that I could find quickly at local store - added to the three I had left from my "Tell a Stranger They Are Beautiful" effort in 2010 and 2011, and am proceeding to give out to some new people this week with the hope they will purchase Trespassing. At least that is my hope and often my experience. I also sent an email to all the friends/family that I gifted or introduced FYE to. I requested that they listen to the stream and buy Trespassing so we can get Adam to #1 next week. My wonderful men friends are texting me like crazy this morning - I sent them a note about Adam's 4 stars on RS and they are amazed! I have other Adam strategies all over the place - I am a "plant the seed" person and I keep the garden watered, so to speak. All my kids, many of their friends, and my extended family do the same, both for Adam and for @1n10. And everything all of you on Adamtopia ask or suggest we do, I do that too. It always bears repeating, thanks to all of you for the amazing work you do to keep us collectively aware of how to make a difference on behalf of our Adam spirit. I am a big risk-taker on all diversity related issues (some know my story), but I have done things where I did not breathe for a month afterward. "No pain, no gain theory" needs to be re-thought from time to time :-) By the way, I do not let anyone off the hook when it comes to describing and living my love for Adam. I just have different strategies for different people. |
