Hi all. Have been listening to the stream over and over today and got to wondering whether any of you had any thoughts about why so many of the songs seem to have the instrumental or wailing-type bridges (OOL, Broken English, Naked Love, NCOE)? Cassie (and anyone else), do you think that is something Adam does because only HE can really pull that off? I was just curious, as I only noticed it after listening so many times in a row and noticed it. (Thanks to anyone who answers, from someone who love music, but is not musically inclined!) Lol, this was the first thing that I noticed when I heard the full versions, and not going to lie, it literally pissed me off. And I started gravitating more towards the songs that had bridges. Naked Love, which was my first love, went drastically down after the non-existent bridge. Don't hate on me, but this is my only complaint with the album. The non words, or only two-three words bridges, makes the songs a little less appealing to me for some of the songs. I just keep thinking how better Cuckoo, Trespassing, NCOE and Naked Love could be if the bridges were worked in better. But for Broken English and Chokehold, the limp bridge works, but for the faster songs, not so much. Adam's fortunate though, that the songs and the album as a whole is so good and strong, so he can get by with having this "flaw" Alright...come throw stones at me.... No stones from me. I don't love every single song on the album either. BTIKM is my least favorite song on the album. Naked Love is just all right for me. However, cuckoo, shady, chokehold, runnin, trespassing, and broken English are just incredible for me. And while I Love the lyrics of Nirvana, and his voice is beautiful, I am bored by the back beat. Too repetitive. Blessedly, Adam thinks in a "something for everyone kind of way" so we will all be satisfied in the end, yes? And I know what he can do live. I get really excited thinking what will he do with the songs that are not my favorites on stage. That is how Aftermath was for me. Just ok on the the album, but OMG, live was just awesome, right? So, we have many incarnations of each song to look forward to.

I was thinking this a bit myself.

blogs.villagevoice.com/music/2012/05/adam_lambert_gay_pop_star.phpI have been reading the comments on this article, and he changed his discription of the album to "reportedly fun" there are a lot of great comments on this, and only one ugly one, well 2. anyway, this article should be tweeted out by everybody, IMO. "Why am I proposing we shell out hard cash for this frothy and reportedly fun pop disc, which is as light and apolitical as Bridesmaids was? Because in the nearly 60-year history of the weekly Billboard album chart, no single-artist title credited to an out gay performer has ever been our No. 1 album. (Nope, not him. Or him, either. Or her.)"

LOL! They gave The Wanted a B+ but only gave Jack White a B! WTF?! RS gave Jack White a 4 1/2 stars! And there you have it. They are idiots and don't know good music when they hear it. Jack White is super talented and everywhere right now, except for my local radio stations. Which for me means that success does not always equal massive radio play, because jack white is successful. And he has been around for a while. Ok, here is a little perspective as well. Anyone here listening to the Black Keys? I fucking love this band! When I went to iTunes I saw just how long these guys have been producing music - over a decade - and just this past year or two these guys have exploded, I was reminded that the path to Mega super stardom takes TIME, and Adam has time. He will be in this business as long as he can sing a note and he is already experiencing an amazing amount of success with just two albums out. So whatever bullshit gets published about his album that we do not resonate with is not that important in the long run. The truth that he garners respect wherever he goes with whomever he works with; that is what gets you longevity in the crazy world he lives in. Agree with everything here--and yes, I really like the Black Keys and Jack White. In fact, I have to write-in NCOE on the mediabase for my local HAC station and I also wrote in Gold on the Ceiling! Figured then I wouldn't look like I was just stanning one person (even though I am). ;D

OMG Adam say more words more words more words
“I think that as an artist, and as a person, I’m always growing,” Lambert says. “For this album, I wanted to evolve and explore new sounds. Having been on tour for a year, and really understanding what gets my fans both dancing AND crying, I had a better idea of the type of music that I wanted to create. Also, having been through the experience of becoming a public person, I know myself better as an artist. I'm more in tune with the things that I want to express and the stereotypes that I want to challenge. This album is the most vulnerable I’ve let myself get. These are my real ideas, dreams, fears, and struggles — that’s what I’m singing about.”
I’m a firm believer that life doesn’t just happen to you”, Lambert says. “We are all on a journey that we have the ability to affect and change. Sometimes we have to trespass out of our comfort zone in order to evolve. Trespassing was written about the push and pull that we all go through on our quest for happiness, allowing the listener to find their own balance within my world.”

I think my face book friends are sick of my love for Adam.My friend's son, also on my face book asked his mom .. what is with your girlfriend and her obsession with Adam Lambert? ;D
