Been fun posting today. I'm so excited about the new music and so excited to have a community to discuss it with! My family still thinks I am a little crazy when it comes to Adam. So I do not go on and on with them and cannot listen constantly. It wears them out and then they don't want to hear him at all. I have become very good at making mixed playlists in my iPod with many different artists and a liberal sprinkling of Adam thrown in. Put a playlist like that on random shuffle and life is good. Then no one complains that I am overplaying Adam. And now I have new songs.....life is sweet!
Off for a nap. Must sleep a bit more as my call shift yesterday worked me for 21 of the 24 hrs! See y'all later!

Platinum Certified - FYEYAY! So I hope Adam will get his presentation and plaque at Idol on May 17th Perfect!!!!!!!!! ha! quoting myself here. Last week or maybe 2 weeks ago, somebody posted a listing from Billboard or somewhere that had he 1st week numbers comparisions of artists with new albums coming out. I found it very interesting that Adam's FYE did very well, and very few albums recently ever reach Platinum status. This is HUGE!!!!! Maybe this is the news we were expecting? Guess I am not excited because his sales are only 838K. Wasn't Taylor Hick's also certified platinum and he didn't even break 800K? |

President Obama affirms his personal belief that same sex couples should be able to marry. I love President Obama in much the same way that I love Adam.

I haven't listened. Just impatientlypatiently waiting in delicious anticipation!  8-) This reminds me of when a close friend of mine delivered her first child. She was so pleased with herself for not having an epidural. All I could say was, "WHY IN THE WORLD NOT!!!"Actually, I get it. But it took me about 30 seconds to decide not to wait till I held it in my hands! Kay.  It`s not THAT painfull  |

Guess I am not excited because his sales are only 838K. 838k was the number well over a year ago. No one but RCA knows todays numbers. With the new CD coming out I'm sure they've shipped a lot more of his first CD and sales will pick up again for that one. Plus he's been certified platinum and in some cases multiple platinum in multiple countries. |

Labor hurts like hell, but the triumph and the feeling of incredible personal empowerment that natural childbirth holds for a small population of women is very real. Most of my clients just don't want to go to the hospital. By the time they figure out how much it hurts, they are well on their way to pushing their baby out, so it's too late for the drugs anyway. Trespassing is a drug that soothes all of our Adam addictions. Bring it on. |
