They 're reporting it to GLAAD.
Ohhhh I would be SO HAPPY if GLAAD see this , they usually do like they did when the GQ made those homophobic jokes and apologized.
THAT's what Adam is talking about. I can almost feel his frustration. Almost because I'm not gay and I can't imagine what he's going through every day. Ohhh man the more I talk about it the more I'm pissed.

That's really fantastic and interesting to hear the inception of gifting the CDs.. so the CDs don't go to the kids directly, but are used for fundraising purposes? It just occurred to me that if you give them to the kids, how would they listen to a CD without something to play it in? :-/ Let me clarify (glad you asked!) For FYE, there were over 500 CDs that went to the @1n10 youth from Adam's fans. We decided to use 100 of the gifted CDs at the brunch, since it was a whole new audience of people who would appreciate Adam. Since then, I hear so much about Adam from those who took home a CD. (many were gay men). The CDs go to the 1n10 youth first and then the overflow used for other purposes such as the fundraising brunch and the Adam Fan Basket. We also sent some to AIDS related organization. Many youth are homeless but hundreds of others come to @1n10 for friendship and services that are provided. So many more have access to CD players etc. It is the same for YTF, as I understand it. I volunteer for last three years at 1n10 - we have a small team of Adam fans and we march with the kids at Gay Pride, AIDS march, make cookies for holiday - they are the most resilient and awesome kids. And, they love Adam! Thanks for the clarification! I'm always happy when Adam's music gets heard and appreciated by a new audience, and am so glad the kids can find some refuge and inspiration in the music and the man. Sounds like great work you're doing!!

Never Close Our Eyes www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NxKoqnxCvs&feature=player_embeddedplaying over and over and over again, always using REFRESH. I am amazed at all the little things I notice, all the exquisite runs, Adam's background vocals are yummy, there are layers and layers and layers of sound on this song. It really is a good song, and Adam sounds so fantastic singing it. I've decided that Adam's layering and texturing is his trademark. I listened to FYE yesterday! I hope Trespassing will encourage others to buy that album too. As for Trespassing, I have no words. So much more then I could ever imagine.

I'm not one to get pissed often but this "review" ticked me off too. It's not about the album score. It's not about the music review itself which was ok if lazy. It was about the damn homogeneous of it. The thing with this article is it's not homophobic it's homo stifling. Stick every gay man in a bag and shake it up until they all come out looking, feeling, acting the same. This time it's not a gay/lesbian magazine or group who often have it wrong but are at least entitled to their opinion as a group. EW is intended for a wider audience and I hope they get an earful.

skylar - the reviewer is a she, Melissa Maerz. She's been a writer and senior editor for Spin and Rolling Stone (according to a quick google search). gelly - please, do not let your blood pressure rise! people are pointing out very well what is wrong with the review in those tweets you brought over and, really, the article points it out all by itself anyway. And, in the midst of it all, the reviewer does like the first half: a "study in fabulosity." (I predict she will soon tweet to report that while some fans have misunderstood her sense of humor, her many, many gay friends think she's hysterical and totally "get her.") Maybe there is a good reason she no longer writes for Spin and Rolling Stone?
