entertainment.time.com/2012/05/11/adam-lambert-on-his-new-album-all-those-singing-competitions-and-filling-in-for-freddie-mercury/Q&A Adam Lambert on His New Album, All Those Singing Competitions and Filling in for Freddie Mercury It’s been two and a half years since Adam Lambert dropped his last album. Why? “I just wanted to get this one right!” he says of Trespassing, out May 15, which is “funkier and more soulful” than its predecessor. Here, American Idol’s wildest runner-up—who counts Prince, Michael Jackson and Madonna among his musical influences—lets loose with Time. You’ve called this album “existential pop.” What does that mean? Well, there’s definitely something existential about my first single, “Better Than I Know Myself,” and especially the music video. There are two of me. It’s my Waiting for Godot moment. Yeah, every pop star needs one of those. Of course! (MORE: American Idol vs. The Voice) Do you watch any of the singing-competition shows? Here and there, yeah. I’m not, like, glued to the TV, since I’ve been on the road promoting stuff. But when I flip by ‘em, I watch. I've had a MAJOR computer crash and lost all of Adam's Trespassing Cd I had made I had given away to friend with the express promise of buying on the 15th, but she is a new convert! So... is there still a link for download? Would someone take pity and dm me? Whew!! Thanks for reminding me grandduchess! My computer has been really acting up and I suspect it may crash forever any moment. I back up weekly but if it went today, I would not have Trespassing either...and my cd has not arrived yet :-( Backing up as we 'speak'...so TY for the reminder...

I watched the whole interview through twitter while I was on my way to work(by localtrain) with a BIG smile ;D on my face! So lovely I had bad day at work, I came home and watched. Sooooo cute! Feeling better now. I love how he tells about his love for Sauli. Makes me feel good too. Wish them love forever... So nice to hear you feel better now! About love-strong base filled with love is a great start...you never know... Still...what I so love about Sauli and Adam-they both have a life of their own. That`s a good sign too.Sand stays on palm when not pressed too tight.

Someone on Twitter this morning indicated that they could no longer find the article/review from the Dallas Gay publication. They thought perhaps it had been pulled because of the "comment from the Glambert." I'm wondering if anyone can pull it up ... maybe it was just the tweeter's computer that had a problem and my pea brain doesn't remember the name. I know someone here remembers ... I can't believe they would have pulled the article.
Also, please don't feel bad or that Chelsea was singling out Adam for gay jokes. I watch her all the time and it's her 'schtick' ... not always funny but I'm sure Adam was well aware of what was awaiting him and was prepared. She interviewed Pharrell not too long ago ... and mentioned him last night.
I also agree with Bullsfan (and others) and think that EW could care less about offended fans. I think they are absolutely delirious with the number of clicks that they are getting and will milk it as long as they can.

And I like how Sauli doesn't tell too much about they relationship, well, almost nothing! We get sometimes little pieces and that's usually Adam who tells something, like that lollipop thing...I'm so happy that things are fine with them!

www.hitfix.com/blogs/the-beat-goes-on/posts/interview-adam-lambert-on-trespassing-fierceness-and-a-memorable-fanInterview: Adam Lambert on 'Trespassing,' fierceness, and a memorable fanOn May 15, Adam Lambert’s second post- “American Idol” comes out. “Trespassing” is an extremely ambitious song cycle that takes the listener though life’s highs and lows. For Lambert’s fans, it come as no surprise that he holds nothing back whether he’s leading the party or in the depths of despair, aching to be understood. It feels like you really swung for the fences on “Trespassing.” It’s a very ambitious effort. That’s true. This is true. This is my sophomore album, this is a big deal. The first album, which I’m very proud of, was something that we did so quickly, so I took my time on this one and I think it paid off. I really got the chance to explore a lot of different sounds and concepts. I feel like I’ve grown a lot as an artist and a writer so I think the album reflects that. Was it always your intent to take us on a journey that is light in some parts and very dark in others? I think that, as people we all have our ups and downs. We got through our tough times and our celebrations and I think we kind of covered both and I think ultimately in my life, I’ve found that there have been times when I’ve had to muster up a certain amount of fierceness and pride and confidence and swagger and some of that is self-created. We put that on, we project that out into the universe to appear a certain way and to live our lives to the fullest. It is kind of like peacocking in a way: it’s a way of showing your feathers to the world. The album talks about the game face and what lies beneath that. MORE...
