Kinda strange review. Will not hurt Adam at all. Backward from FYE? What planet are they living on ? Backward from FYE? No. Different from FYE? Yes. I actually listened to FYE just the other day -- I can't believe that he created so much new music in such a short period of time. FYE will stand the test of time too.

The "Adam should sing RAWK music" planet. : We are probably going to see several of these types of reviews in the next couple of weeks. This reviewer liked the ballads -- so not looking for rock Adam. It is the mirror image of the EW reviewer who did not like the ballads. And he gives good reviews to other dance-pop albums. He also picked FYE as a Top 10 Album from 2009 -- "10. Adam Lambert , For Your Entertainment (19/RCA): Love him or loathe him - and it seems as though there's an equal amount on both camps - the button-pushing American Idol runner-up made a super-fun glam pop-rock-dance CD bursting with pipes and personality. Now he needs to stop talking and keep singing." Link: www.dallasnews.com/entertainment/columnists/mario-tarradell/20091223-Year-in-Review-Music-7109.ece So he was a fan of FYE. His top 10 albums of 2009 was an ~interesting mix. It looks like the reviewer liked the "super-fun glam pop-rock" music on FYE. This CD is more pop-dance and funk. Maybe he liked Adam doing GLAM pop-rock more? Oh well, he'll always have the music on FYE!

I don't know if that site was the one but one LGBT site, a poster who identified as lesbian didn't like identified straight people swarming their site and taking over the comments section. Some of the posts were over the top, basically telling the gay community how to think, feel, etc. The regular readers did not appreciate their site being swarmed like that by people who obviously didn't regularly read the site. I could see her point. I wish straight Adam fans would stay out of those comment sections. It would be nice to see what their regular readers have to say. When they see their site has been, basically invaded, they tend to back away from commenting themselves until they get pissed off. Yes, that is the site ... and that was my thought on why they pulled it. Can't think of any other reason for them to do it. Umm... not sure, but I don't think so, I think the comments sections of After Elton and Queerty and Towleroad have had more ongoing battles of this sort. On this Dallas site there was one brief OTT reaction comment from an Adam fan, another Adam fan intervened and the first fan apologized somewhat. Besides that there were only a handful of comments total that I noticed, and nothing stuck out particularly. Who knows but I think it's probably most likely something innocuous like it was posted too early and meant to go up next week or something to correspond with the print version.

OK, I know EW won't give a flying fuck but this might make me feel better. Just got THAT issue in mail so think I'll: Pull out the Adam page and write a nasty mature note on the Adam page (maybe something about gay teen suicide and gay stereotypes). :D Tear the issue into pieces. ;D And, for fun, tear the several I still haven't recycled into pieces. Put all in a box along with my cancellation confirmation and mail it to them. It will be rather cathartic if nothing else, especially ripping the issues to shreds. Whataya think? PERFECT.

OMG.. JanuarySnow, this is the website my friend listening to every day at work and everytime she open this website in the morning or before lunch she heard NCOE.. I don't remember if I play NCOE for her, but I sent her quite a few of Adam YTs and she loves Brigadoon... coz she's a fan of Nicolay Baskov. But when she heard NCOE the first time, she was like... "Is this your guy Adam?".. and I have to run to her cubee to listen to it and it was NCOE on Europaplus website. I asked her if she likes it and she said yes.. and boping her head.. LOL Oh, great! Does your friend know Russian? I used to listen to this and couple other stations years ago, especially in my university days, in early 90s when it was difficult to make your own collections. Since I figured out how to do it I rarely listen to radio, too much music I can't stand : Does you friend know that on Sunday they premiering "Trespassing"?
