Alex Clare -- I've been WONDERING who did that song for the commercial, and I love it every time I hear it. I kept meaning to find out about it, but have been too busy squeeing in Adamland...
I just downloaded the album, as I am another "whole album" type of listener because that's what I grew up doing (I'd say I'm retro, but actually I'm just that old).
Hi terrijo! I also got hooked on Clare - checked him out on iTunes cause I couldn't get the hook from that commercial outta my head . I dl'd the album and really like it. (rather than cherry pick singles I lean towards going ahead w album dl - figure I might find some treasure and - in any event- support album buying and new music.)
Hi Mika! I'm glad you agree. I just downloaded his album tonight and am really liking it. "Treading Water" is another favorite. I was not expecting that soulful voice to come from a very conservative looking redhead, ;D.

Thanks terrijo! I've ben wanting to watch this since I read the TIME interview, and will do so after seeing the season finale of Vampire Diaries. The fusion of Soul and Dubstep sounds promising! I'm boycotting VD until they admit Damon and Alaric belong together. It may be a doomed protest but it's a noble one.

The extraordinary voice and the music keeps making me think of this scene from the movie "The Fifth Element" Hahah readon ive thought about the Diva in fifth element many times with respect to Adam!! good to see it here!!! I immediately thought of that scene when I heard the wailing bridge of Broken Open.

Tell her Elderberry works!!! Nothing will do better. A small study published five years ago showed that 93% of flu patients given Sambucol, a black elderberry extract that appears to short-circuit flu symptoms, were completely symptom-free within two days; those taking a placebo recovered in about six days. (HUGE FINDING!!) Rubini elderberry extract is active against human pathogenic bacteria as well as influenza viruses. Research has shown that anthocyanins in black elderberry boost the production of cytokines, the proteins that act as messengers within our immune system, and thereby serve to enhance the body’s immune response. The black elderberry contains nearly five times the level of anthocyanins (natural antioxidants) of the blueberry. Randomized study of the efficacy and safety of oral elderberry extract in the treatment of influenza A and B virus infections. J Int Med Res. 2004 Mar-Apr;32(2):132-40. Learn more: www.livestrong.com/article/376402-elderberry-extract-benefits/OMG Skylar - you absolutely amaze me. Gonna get that...I'm so afraid of flu and colds, as I am asthmatic and can have some breathing problems, and they always want to put me on steroids when I get sick. I used to have asthma as well and when I get a cold it always goes to my chest - since I found Wild Oil of Oregano hasn't happened once - is particularly effective for lung related things. www.homeremediesweb.com/oil_of_oregano_health_benefits.phpHadn't heard about the elderberry and will definitely check it out seeing I don't take pharmaceutical drugs. Ever.
