lol Skylar you need to participate in the discussion on twitter when those with high follower counts are trying to hash it out. It's sometimes a little like herding cats to unify the fragmented parts of the fanbase on twitter or elsewhere in order to effectively trend. Then of course Adam tweets something cute and it takes off organically, which is kind of ideal. ;D I guess I am talking less about trending and more about branding. Doesn't matter to me that we all do it together and trend on twitter but that the chosen linked hashtag acts as a kind of rally call/ cheer/ buzz word that catches on and spreads, that everyone can tag to their tweets. #Letsblowthisshitup If you can get Adam to tweet it, I think that will definitely happen

Oh God! I feel like an idiot right now :-[ I really need to learn more English to express myself properly. I think I owe you all an apology for this. When I wrote about excluding myself from discussion, I was thinking about this discussion only. I just has a feeling that this discussion is going nowhere. I will try explain what I was trying to say two day ago, for the last time - I appreciate importance of the gay community (and every other community). Community can protect you, you are with people who understand and supportu you. But I've learned that in the grand sheme of things community will limit you. That was the moment when I start support not one equality or other equality - I support euality beetwen everyone, as one human being equal to another human being. And in discussion two days ago I wasn't feel equal at all. I felt like someone lesser, becouse I'm not part of gay community, becouse I'm not gay, so I can't understand and never will. I'm not playing victim here, but the truth is I'm one of the victims so I react rather emotionally (old pain, new scars and things like that). Maybe I shouldn't, but I'm only human. I'm not leaving Adamtopia and I'm sorry that I gave you all that impression. If I ever decide to leave I will say it clear. Today after login I really felt terrible that I didn't have a chance to explain this yesterday but I have internet problems. But right now I'm not going anywhere Ok, I will shut up now!

I have PM'd her, but it is really bothering me, and I would like to make a public apology to AdisaM. A few days ago, I lashed out at her over a response she made to a question I had. I was totally wrong, and am embarrassed by my actions. There is never a reason why anyone should treat someone disrespectfully or rude for anything, and I did that. Please accept my apologies not only to AdisaM but to the whole community here.

Andy Cohen's live show is very popular. It's an open bar and they take phone calls. I wonder what reality show they'll be discussing. This should be a fun one to watch.

Geez. Gotta be part of the Twitter trend-master "elite" to get a foot in the door here. Y'all are a tough crowd.
I may be just an Atopian with a penny and a dream, but... (*cue Rocky Theme Song.)

Still love Helvetica. Busy design can work and is just as challenging in its own way as minimalism. I'm an equal opportunity design lover - if it's good design I love it :-) ITA that design and layout is one area where 'more is more' simply doesn't work (sorry Adam ;D). In saying that, I HATE Helvetica with the power of a thousand burning suns and try really had not to use it EVAH >:( because every man and his dog uses it and therefore it tends to blend in with every other piece of advertising out there ie: nothing to make your customers image look different. There are alternative sans serif fonts out there that are equally easy reading friendly, but are far more elegant IMHO. Current favourites are Myriad Pro, Rotis sans serif etc. and their are heaps more. Fonts are fun, but they also need to be chosen wisely when applying them to business images. A bad, childish, gimmicky font can relay accidentally the wrong image to prospective clientele. One uses Comic Sans, Papyrus and the like with caution...lol. Comic Sans could work for instance with child care centres, or cartoony, fun, young party type events. Papyrus can look well on a logo for naturopaths, physio's, healers, psychics kinda of stuff, but looks totally unprofessional and sends the wrong signal for corporate companies. Mistral is just all shades of wrong on sooooo... many friggin levels.. I can't even... I spend a LOT of time choosing image conscious fonts for my clients, making sure that their logo font plus their information/body text font are compatible, sends the right message and above all is readable. General rule of thumb is TWO fonts MAX in a document, brochure, business card etc. Keep it simple people. Ooops :-[ sorry, rattling on here... didn't mean too, but did say I was a font junkie ;D With a bit of luck the new thread is up whilst I been waxing profound on the joys of fonts *tip toes out of thread*
