Is Darren Criss famous and why is he stalking bb? LOL.. anjalee, google is a good way to find out who and what. Darren Criss is one of the star from The Glee TV series in US. So he is not stalking Adam. It just happened they bump to each other a lot and everywhere. In this case maybe they're both in the LAX airport. I am not sure who Darren Criss is, so I have to google him ;D

Adam now has 3 reviews for Metacritic
Rolling Stone - 80 (most important so far) EW - 67 All Music - 80
Metacritic does not publish their weighted average formula but it appears that Rolling Stone counts a lot more than EW.
Just a straight average -- Trespassing is at 76 which is better than FYE did (71) and far better than most pop albums do. Most of the top reviewed albums are classic artists and indie albums.
Only 71 Pop albums have an 80 or more EVER on Metacritic. And many of these albums are only vaguely pop albums. Link: www.metacritic.com/browse/albums/genre/metascore/pop?view=condensed&page=0
Highest ranked pop album ever is "Smile" the album Brian Wilson took 37 years to finish. www.metacritic.com/music/smile/brian-wilson Released September 28, 2004.

I am thrilled at the reviews for Trespassing. But, can I express one little whine? Why all this talk of glam and glitter? I don't hear either in the new music, and haven't seen either in his recent performances. That was just one side of him, a side he has moved on from, but, the writers all seem stuck with that image. The allmusic review, ironically, talks about how Adam has moved beyond Idol and put it behind him, but in the same article they are guilty of not recognizing he has also move beyond glam and glitter. Sigh. Oh, well, rant over. Back to listening and dancing and crying. 1st impressions last a long time. He will always be glam and glittery to the media. But maybe as Adam stays more and more prominent in the media, which he hasn't for the last couple of years, the media's perception will change. It'll take a while though. LOL, right? Next era, we'll be all, "Why can't they let go of this yellow and black fierce Trespassing meme??? That was sooo 2012..." People have their perceptions and sometimes they can be used for good (reviewers remembering how exciting and unique he is) and for evil (stink-eyeing YOU, Melissa Maerz), but people love to classify, so as long as it isn't mean-spirited, I'm okay. Also, many have not yet seen Adam with his new look.

Couldn't we start a trend that Runnin should be the next single? Please, Pretty Please!!!!!!
I do not think there is any chance a bonus track will ever be released as a single.
Setting that aside, and I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I am not a huge fan of Runnin' -- I think if he performs this live, like "Aftermath", I will be a fan of the live, more stripped version of the song.
IMO Runnin' would not get much radio airplay. I think there are several better choices for radio --- Shady is top of my list, but Cuckoo, Chokehold, Naked Love, Broken English (with a radio edit of the instrumental break), and a few other tracks would be more suited to mainstream pop radio and HAC.
Runnin' has a somewhat dated rock-orientated beat -- and doesn't really fit any radio format.
Finally, Adam needs a single that will get airplay on CHR and HAC, plus get played in the US and in other countries. The best possibilities are the dance-pop tracks and the mid-tempo ballads.
----
'Runnin' and 'Shady' are my teens favorites of songs on the album so I don't think 'Runnin' is dated. Doesn't the current No1 'We are young' have a rock orientated beat? My 17 year old also liked 'that Micheal Jackson type song that has a girl singing in it'?! ;D

Gelly, that is truly a brave human being who would wear those shoes, stand tip-toe while wearing a simulated straitjacket. I'd have probably face planted w no hands to break my fall. :-/
