You know how some of you don't want to listen to the music until Trespassing is officially released? I'm trying to quickly scroll past any photos of what's included in the box set! LOL! I want to be surprised.

Yeah, first of all, radio "showed the most interest" in NCOE. Second, if NCOE fails, he will mostly likely not get another RCA supported single this era.
Ever thought radio could care less and just picked a single without really listening. Oh Bruno track.... yeah lets go with that. Gave no thought or a listen to the other songs. Becasue if they had, I think they would have chosen differently. They have no stake in Adam success. Adam and RCA do. It is conceivable radio wants Adam to fail.
Thinking out loud here.Whether they listened or not doesn't matter if the feedback they gave to the label was that NCOE was the song they felt would fit best. PDs want good songs on the radio that their listeners like so that they keep listening (and hear the ads). I don't think radio cares one way or the other about Adam the same way they don't care about any other up-and-coming artist. It's not personal for them, imo. And if radio wanted Adam to fail, WWFM wouldn't have been such a successful song that continues to get airplay. I'm 100% with Rabbitrabbit on this issue. If fans don't support NCOE, that is very bad news for Adam. The good news is, that most fans do support it, and spins are increasing, so it looks like it's doing well so far.

That's okay! Not expecting miracles, but just a tiny contingent of Chinese being aware is still major for his brand. And if they're buying authorized imports, that's great!! One bit of triumph at a time, but if a market like China gets behind him (however small) that is huge. One city there can equal a small country in other parts of the world. Love the review from DavidAtlanta!!! Exactly. I was surprise QQ music put him on their main page, since he's not well known in China yet. baby steps ... It's getting better but even major Chinese musicians don't sell that many records. They get their music out by streaming and make money by performing. Didn't Adam have an Amway gig in Shanghai last year? That's a pretty awesome deal. Totally OT, I'm watching Will Ferrell channeling George W. here, he's so good.. newsfeed.time.com/2012/05/13/snls-5-best-skits-will-ferrell-returns-as-bush-and-the-show-stays-abreast-of-times-cover/?iid=nf-article-latest#bush-consoles-biden

Ok, so I'm one of those worriers too. I realize that Adam is doing several radio concerts in the next few weeks in hopes of getting adds and plays. Do you think the bigger radio stations he's playing concerts for will start to play his singles with lots of spins like he got for WWFM? I'm nervous because Adam did SO MANY radio visits already, even while BTIKM was slowing down so I thought those would be "pay it forward" spins for NCOE. Even though the track is doing somewhat better than the first single so early, I was hoping a lot of stations would jump on the band wagon early...

I hope I'm not seen as putting down NCOE. I like the song. Not as much as other songs. But I definitely see it as a means to get Adam on POP radio. I just am waiting for RCA to do more to get it played.
I have to say when I hear fans saying let's push for this song or that song as a single, I think WTF. If anyone wants to buy this song or that song as a "single" they can. But we do need to support the official "single", being the song RCA has selected for radio play.
But I do not think radio is the only way to sell this album. There are many songs on this album that RCA should be promoting to the dance clubs. From Donna Summer to Cher, songs that begin as club hits have made it to the radio and to a larger audience.

I think Z100 will add this week ....and NCOE is destined to be a hit.
;D
(I really, REALLY think they've just been waiting for the song they wanted).
Am I living in LaLaLand? Haha!

He's 41 in HAC, so maybe after reaching 40, the Top 40 stations will play him. Don't know. Need expert info here.
