Q3... yesterday you said:"For Mother's Day, my family joined me in listening to Trespassing in surround sound. Then my music expert musician son decided to send a couple tracks to his friends but not tell them who it was -- so they would not have an Idol-bias. He was particularly impressed with Underneath. (He is a jazz/rock/funk musician and a classically trained tenor. Perhaps I can get him to go see him live someday.)" But you never said if your son 1) liked most of the album (or just Underneath??); and 2) what was the reaction of your son's friends when they heard the tracks. JUST CURIOUS!!! ;D Getting feedback/reactions from that age group is always interesting!! I love Trespassing because it is making believers out of my family and other people I know. My son is not a fan of dance pop so some tracks were not to his taste but overall he like the album (or he was being nice to me for Mother's Day). Top rated tracks - Shady, Underneath and Broken English. Highly rated: Trespassing, Nirvanna, OOL. In the middle: Pop That Lock, Chokehold, Naked Love, Kickin' In and Cuckcoo he would would listen and he would dance to Cuckcoo. Not favs: Take Back, NCOE and BTIKM he would not listen to -- and would not put on his playlist. He would switch the track if they came on his Pandora station immediately. Mixed review of Runnin' -- he was not a fan of the lower register portion of the vocal, liked other parts. "Doesn't sound like Adam -- lacked the color he has in his higher register."

I don't remember if this been posted. www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/la-et-0515-adam-lambert-20120515,0,825471.story Adam Lambert braces for whirlwind with 'Trespassing,' Queen tourWith his sophomore album 'Trespassing' just landing and a summer tour with Queen in the works, Adam Lambert basks in his 'somewhat' normal life. By Mikael Wood, Special to the Los Angeles Times May 15, 2012 Adam Lambert is arguably the last major star to come out of the "American Idol" franchise. Though the spectacle-prone singer finished second in 2009 behind the bland pop-rock softie Kris Allen, he attained a near-Kelly Clarkson level of renown thanks to his arresting presence on the show, and for coming out as a gay man weeks after the eighth-season finale. Lambert will leave himself open again for public scrutiny in July when he fills in for one of his primary influences, the late Freddie Mercury, during five European concerts with Brian May and Roger Taylor of Queen. Lambert first joined the English group's remaining members on "Idol." "It's a daunting task," he said over lunch last month at a Larchmont Boulevard vegan joint. "But I'm looking forward to it. And I feel total faith from them." more...
