Amazon mp3 Store @amazonmp3store [Fast Moving Albums] #1: Trespassing: Trespassing Adam Lambert | Format: MP3 Download Sales Rank... amzn.to/JJ1lCt #Amazon #Music Retweeted by mindchnger Just a reminder for those who purchased their Trespassing album(s) through Amazon. They emailed a promotional code for $1 - how about using it to download NCOE (again, haha!)? Yup; that's what I've been doing with all my promo codes and even gifted NCOE when the purchases went over 7. Can someone tell me if there is a solution to my itunes dilemna? I gifted a $20 card to a family member's email address to order another TSP DX (didn't realize I could just gift the cd instead until later) & now I have $9.50 in that account which I CAN'T use to purchase the regular TSP OR the individual songs. I also CAN'T use it to gift songs to other peeps. I really don't want to use it to purchase anything other than BB's material but I am stumped on how to do that.

Wouldn't it be something .. if after all is said and done Radio stations actually pursue Adam. It could happen!"Success breeds success type of thing".. I like this idea. I completely agree with "success breeds success" idea. This is one of the things that I think made great sales become phenomenal, ie Adele. It is why Trespassing being #1 on iTunes is pure Gold!!! People who would never give Adam a 2nd look will preview the album now. And once one hears it, how could tbey not buy it. I would say there are probably 6 songs on it that could appeal to fans of several genres. And if you like 6 dongs, might as well just buy the album. Right? I love our little freudian slips, hahaha. ;D

For months now, maybe 6 months or so, at least back in November, there was heavy buzz going on about this album, among the industry, trickling down to consumers. Instead of doing the standard promo that most artists do, it seems that they were letting the industry hear, and have word of mouth spread, and let that be kind of the ultimate in promoting the album. It seems that that has worked, and is working big time, especially when he doesn't have a strong radio presence at the moment. . In one of the print media, forgot which one (so many 8-) ), RCA/DMG were quite aware of Adam's lack of strong and steady music presence for the past 2 years on radio/public's consciousness, and were strategizing on the 'reintroduction' of Adam Lambert. Yes, radio is important; however, they (including Adam) took note of how difficult it has been to get the 'right' music played. Adam is such a great visual PR magnet, both in print and live. He is also a very sophisticated interviewee and has grown more confident and more self-aware. The Billboard interview was wonderful. I especially am glad he got his iPod to look up the music (Asteroids Galaxy Tour exchange was fab) to show his musical interests, knowledge, uniqueness, and depth. It was a total win. Respect earned, so to speak. I believe RCA knows what a breakthrough Trespassing can be for Adam, if given the right push and promotion. They also know that they can depend on Adam's talent to promote it. Let's hope the stars are aligned for them. Ever wonder why Adam has been wearing Stars... 8-) The Billboard interview was wonderful. Having just seen his tweet to Nelly Furtado a few days ago, I (and probably the rest of you!) was saying Nelly Furtado out loud when he was asked the question by the Billboard guy, and when he found her song on his ipod, he confirmed his honesty and consistency to Glamberts around the world! He really sets the bar high! I was wondering if the interviewer was a bit amazed by it.

No Trespassing CD in Hyvinkää's Anttila! I was so pissed!I asked who is responsible for it that the CD has not come yet! I said that " I am going to make a claim under this! Radio has advertised for two days, and it does not go this way, that you do not have the CD yet! "I like this Finnspeak! "It does not go this way" Do you think Sauli uses that sometimes with the amerikkalainen? ;D

It seems funny. I remember we were constantly complaining for months, about RCA/DMG not having any, or much promo lined up. That he was only booked on T.V. a few times, and not enough national magazines, etc., But it seems that they were doing promo, but we just weren't seeing it. I'd say job well done DMG/RCA. I'm kind of amazed.. My only complaint about DMG/RCA since the beginning has been the wacky choice of BTIKM as a lead single and the incomprehensible promo plan for that single. But they recovered from that misstep with the reboot on the promo plan, new better single (NCOE) and by proper staging of this album release. This will be the FIRST time RCA has managed to release the music video for an Adam single BEFORE then impacting radio date. What a novel idea. But JMHO, this album is mostly #1 right now because it is really good and Adam has worked his tail off building a fanbase. This is not a case of massive promotion resulting in sales. This is more build awareness for months, release the music online and build buzz, get good-great reviews, sell music. And what tracks are selling on iTunes? Trespassing and Runnin' Not either of the "singles". So my "job well done" kudos go to Adam not RCA.Here's hoping he does two songs on Idol -- NCOE + Trespassing and Trespassing jumps up the charts. That would be just the perfect way to cap off this week for me. And I want to see what RCA will do if the organic single hit is a gay empowerment song performed by a gay man vs. a pop diva. Wooooo sooooooooooo scary!! NCOE is selling, it is the third highest selling single off of the album at this time and one of the three songs in the top 100. (and remember it was in the top 100 for a week already) I've seen this happen many times with album releases. Casual fans already have the single, so they buy a couple of more tracks from the album on iTunes. There are many people who don't buy albums anymore, they just pick and choose. It isn't surprising that fans of "AI Adam" went for the song that sounds like Adam doing a more current Daughtry/Cook song and the Queen like title track. It is a rare, rare occurrence for a song to grow organically. ITunes placement isn't going to make something like this happen, unless it is a situation like "We Are Young" and the song stays at #1 on the overall chart for several weeks without radio airplay. RCA isn't going to pull a bonus track for a single and send it to radio, but they could eventually choose the title track. If TSP was one of the best sellers, it could POSSIBLY send a message to the label. That's months from now, though. I'm not sure if Adam will do a mash-up or not on AI. Usually artists do those when they already have a current mega hit on radio, in a way to promote another song. It will be unusual for an artist to do this when they have a single that is just starting out on radio, but you never know about Adam! I'm looking forward to whatever he surprises us with!!!!!!!!!!
