Twitter can't be trusted for these things but even if she did how would that impact Idol? I was think about what happened whrn Whitney died. Agreed All of Whitney CD' sold thousands. It might knock Adam off the #1 or #2 spot for sales. |

It is in breaking news at the moment. She was battling cancer for sometime now. She was definitely the Queen of disco and well loved - great voice. Adam always seems to be hit with people dying affecting appearances; Whitney, now Donna Summers. He wasn't impacted by MJ, but in rehearsals for the idol tour. |

They didn't stop the results show or change it in any way that I recall. and no offense but Donna Summer isn't Whitney. She's an aged disco diva who has been battling cancer apparently. Sad, but not gonna be seen as tragic like Whitney's death. |

Donna Summer had a great but limited career in the 70s/early 80s but she did not have remotely close to the impact that someone like Whitney had. Not to mention Whitney's death was out of the blue and shocking for several reason not the least of which is the circumstances surrounding her death. She was in the hotel that Clive's Grammy Party was being held in and she was there because she was supposed to attend. She was also working on a "comeback" with an upcoming movie with Jordin Sparks. |
