[cautiously curls fingernail-bitten fingers around thread edge; pokes head nervously around corner] Yes, I'm a wuss. Had no intention of watching this live. Please tell me he did ok.... :-[ Well, we all have our quirks, I know I do, but some time soon you might want to consider trying the pleasure (and it is, really) of watching him while everyone else is too - it's exciting! (Or you might not .) Adam performed beautfully! I loved it (I didn't notice anything about the back up singers other than that they looked adorable and sang and waved their arms when they were supposed to and I was happy Adam's whole band looked so cool and sweet at the same time - Ashley looked hot, too.) One thing I noticed is that I thought Adam looked very, very relaxed, in control, happy, and like he was enjoying himself. Recently, I read that Carrie Underwood doesn't love going back to Idol 'cuz it makes her nervous. David Cook, too, has said the Idol visits are tough. Adam looked pleased as punch to be back. (As for his talon ring - I think it would've gone better with Lisa Marie's set But his pants? Oh, they were a HIT.) |

OK I just re-watched my tape. DID anyone notice a SILVER pointed metal sharp object - like a talon on his baby finger??? what the hell is that? Hell yeah He killed this song. off to watch again I did need a close up and ninja research It's a pinkie nail ring. Purely decorative, although I guess the origins are in cocaine drug culture. Whatever, it's kind of cool. This is the guy who wore a cock ring glove his first time on GMA. Do we really think Adam would make an appearance without a little something to raise an eyebrow or two? LOL. |

"Mote", in biblical terms and in myth and poetry, is referred to as a speck; a splinter in the eye.
Adam has 'motes' in both eyes; extending from '6 o'clock' through the iris.
Very unusual; unique; and prominent in the eye that shone on IDOL!!!!
Someone has also commented on how the white of his eye is easily visible under his iris. This is unusual, too. Usually, the lower lid just reaches the circle of the iris. For Adam, it often is a bit below the iris; and, just sayin' - - - I have never seen the 'white' of anyone's eyes as white as Adam's!!!
How does he just slay me, with every part of him???!!!
