Not confirmed. HDD and Billboard are both predicting any of the 3 could be number 1. (Adam, Adele or Carrie) But Adam will at least be in the Top 3. We have no viability to most of the sales which are at retail. What time is Carrie interview with Oprah on Sunday? I hope it's late enough for peeps to go get their copy so they will wait till Monday to get it LOL |

 Adam was spectacular!!!!!!! He was a pro returning to that stage! AFL did the perfect type of performance for an Idol audience! ITunes updates- Where is NCOE now?

Thanks, Wal!!! On repeat..on repeat...much better sound. Smoley, that last high note of Adam's..clear as a bell. Oofta. Great performance and Adam was, as others have said, totally gracious in acknowledging each of his band members. |

I am sooooo glad I can see this on tv tonight. This is when I want to scream, cause I'm home with my 12 year old computer (with version one of windows 98, I'll have you know) AND dial-up. So I can't see any of your goodies til tomorrow afternoon at some wi-fi place. Thank god I have a laptop. But it sounds like it was soooooo goooood.

OMG !!! Just saw the performance on DVR cause I was out. HE SLAYED THAT THING!!!!
Actually, I might have watched it 4-5 times with a big shit-eating-grin on my face before posting because he was just that damn good!!! Loved the color co-ord w/the band members and how he went up to all of them!
Loved the reaction of the judges - they had those same S-E-G that I had!!!
I am beyond happy!!! I am truly stanning an amazing man and I feel nothing but love for him, the band and all of you !!!

This is what's under the "Rumor Mill":
With an appearance tonight on American Idol, we're giving Adam Lambert the edge for #1 next week. Idol alumni hold down two of the Top 3 as Sony Music lands a whopping seven titles in the Top 10. Adele will record her lowest total yet and still likely remain at #2. In its 65 weeks on the chart, 21 has only dipped below 100k twenty times. Here's how it looks headed into the weekend:
*Adam Lambert (19/RCA) 70-75k
Adele (XL/Columbia) 60-65k
Carrie Underwood (19/Arista Nashville) 55-60k
Now 42 (Capitol/EMI) 45-50k
*Tenacious D (Columbia) 45-50k
*Glee Cast: The Graduation (Columbia) 4
So, looks like their original prediction did factor the Idol appearance in....I'm sure more accurate numbers will come out next Monday, or Tuesday.
Can't wait to watch Adam on my big screen! :-)

[cautiously curls fingernail-bitten fingers around thread edge; pokes head nervously around corner] Yes, I'm a wuss. Had no intention of watching this live. Please tell me he did ok.... :-[ Well, we all have our quirks, I know I do, but some time soon you might want to consider trying the pleasure (and it is, really) of watching him while everyone else is too - it's exciting! (Or you might not .) Adam performed beautfully! I loved it (I didn't notice anything about the back up singers other than that they looked adorable and sang and waved their arms when they were supposed to and I was happy Adam's whole band looked so cool and sweet at the same time - Ashley looked hot, too.) One thing I noticed is that I thought Adam looked very, very relaxed, in control, happy, and like he was enjoying himself. Recently, I read that Carrie Underwood doesn't love going back to Idol 'cuz it makes her nervous. David Cook, too, has said the Idol visits are tough. Adam looked pleased as punch to be back. (As for his talon ring - I think it would've gone better with Lisa Marie's set But his pants? Oh, they were a HIT.) [grins wryly] Its horrible. I've almost psyched myself into thinking that I'll jinx his performance if I watch while its going on. I'm Adam's personal Schrodenger's Cat. Really. ;D Ok - off to watch !!!  |
