I no longer watch American Idol but tonight reminded me of that exciting year where my entire Tuesday evening was devoted to seeing what Adam would bring that night - first on the East Coast stream and then live, followed by hours of voting (A bunch of us had installed special software so we could vote for Adam from Canada), followed by obsessive watching of every online poll and then the Wed. live show. Adam watching is still a big obsession even if I have less time this year to do it. Anyway, Adam was magnificent again tonight and that glowing nail polish will be my must buy in London. Because requesting NCOE is going to be crucial in the next weeks, could one of the mods please fix the following BC stations request info because the forms you're linking to don't work and don't go to the stations. 1. CHSU-FM Kelowna, British Columbia Top 40 mediabase.com/mmrweb/7/stationplaylistrequest.asp?c_let=CHSU-FM is actually 99.9 SunFM and their request page is: www.thesun.net/SongRequest.aspx2. CFUN-FM Vancouver Top 40 mediabase.com/mmrweb/7/stationplaylistrequest.asp?c_let=CFUN-FM This one is NO longer CFUN. It is now Sonic Nation and they have been playing NCOE a lot. Request at: www.sonicnation.ca/contact-us/?song-request3. CHBE-FM Victoria, British Columbia Hot AC mediabase.com/mmrweb/7/stationplaylistrequest.asp?c_let=CHBE-FMForget about this form as it doesn't even list NCOE. This station is actually 107.3 Kool in Victoria and request EMail: requests@1073kool.fm is not working. If I get a working one I'll post it or one can call: 386-1073. 4. CKRV-FM Kamloops Hot AC mediabase.com/mmrweb/7/stationplaylistrequest.asp?c_let=CKRV-FMAnother useless mediabase form (I think most of them are, to be honest), where the Captchas are always rejected OR you get a database error message. If anyone is in Kamloops the best thing is to call 250-372-7197 or text requests to *975. The PD can be contacted at: rudy@ckrv.com Virgin Radio Vancouver might be running a contest to meet Adam in Montreal but when I called to request the song today, I was told they can't play it yet - maybe a i a couple weeks. In any case, let's keep requesting and let them know we want to hear it. They buried BTIKM in a 4 am time slot and stopped playing it after a couple days. Thanks for the info, will do Have been writing it in on the Virgin radio survey I do weekly Can a mod please place this on page No. 1 and change the current listings, so we have correct info. I can tell you, wherever I have requested on mediabase on the daily requests at each site, I have asked to be notified when the song is played. I have yet to receive any notification and I have been doing these requests daily. Maybe we need to start texting.

Why oh why wasn't Shady his first single???
I really wish RCA would take some risks rather than play the safe game with the PDs. Can't they just ask Interscope and Universal for help/tips?

Adam slayed it on AI, vocally, visually, in all ways possible, it was the triumphant display of artistic excellence and a marketing touche. He used maximally every second of the precious TV time: he promoted the single, the album, the band, and his royally neon gorgeous self. And all the time: 'omg, he's so beautiful' kept running through my head. When he stands still, when he's quiet, his beauty is striking and obvious from a mile away. But when these features are set in motion, he simply shines. He belts out these notes which must demand physical strain and how he manages to look even more beautiful is beyond me. Not a single misshaped feature, not a single angle of his face or body short of stunning at any time. He's reaching the realm of perfection and I'm a little scared by that because it feels surreal, I wouldn't be surprised if he disappeared in a puff of smoke like some vision from 1001 Nights. Carmit's work as a creative director was sophisticated yet clear in its message. I liked when Adam approached every band member, thus pointing at their subtle Trespassing imagery and just breathing in movement into the performance. The colour scheme was spectacular. Ashley was hot as hell, I'm in love with that girl. The last image of Adam standing on the stage with that huge Trespassing image behind him, his suit and shirt matching the colours of the cover, his face reflecting the love and thrill flowing from the audience is a million-dollar worth of image. Both figuratively and literally, if you know what I mean.

I've been listening to the three bonus songs. I love, love, love them. Why are they bonus songs? Those songs are three of my favorites. Take Back: when love breaks down, we both die, Runnin' and Nirvana. It doesn't get much better. I feel like I am melting. That voice.......

It is interesting that Nancy Sinatra tweeted that Adam was "perfect on Idol...Great American Rocker". I know that Nancy is a "glambert" and has compared Adam to her father. But then Mia Farrow just tweeted "@adamlambert just awesome. #Trespassing". Mia, of course, was married to Frank Sinatra. So both Frank Sinatra's daughter and his former wife, women who know what a legendary male singer sounds like, love Adam! Yeah, you can compare AL to Elvis, to Freddie, to MJ, to George Michael. But even though the style of music is different, Adam has a voice and swagger comparable to the great Sinatra. I guess you can tell I was a great fan of Sinatra. He did it his way. And Adam too is his own man. Me too! And I was thinking the same thing when I saw their tweets!
