I've been listening to the three bonus songs. I love, love, love them. Why are they bonus songs? Those songs are three of my favorites. Take Back: when love breaks down, we both die, Runnin' and Nirvana. It doesn't get much better. I feel like I am melting. That voice....... IKR? They are my favorite's too... Especially Nirvana... such a lovely and peaceful song! |

Hoppers I put my Walmart Deluxe in my car and the fuck, bitch, shit, etc. are there. It's the same as the one in my Box Sex. There were no "explicit" warnings, etc. on the cover either. I don't know about the regular version. I do know that the lyrics were changed in the Fame Monster one I bought awhile back from Walmart to "free bit baby". Maybe there has been a loosening of the requirements/standards. IDK[groans] Damn. I was actually hoping for an edit. I will admit before I became a mom I totally eyerolled at radio edits. But now that I have a little kid - who doesn't possess filters - it gets a little cringeworthy having her sing ALL the lyrics without any considerations of the "kid appropriateness" of what she's singing. And while she may not literally know what "fuck" means (other than something daddy mutters in traffic), she sure is capable of singing it loudly on a song she likes. And as much as we both love the Cuckoo song, that lyric really isn't appropriate coming from a nursery-schooler. Not quite sure what I'm going to do yet........ |

This performance wasn't about trying to please small groups of hardcore stans. (which he could obviously never do anyways) If Adam had sang Shady, other fans would have wanted him to sing Trespassing. If he had sung Trespassing, other fans would have wanted him to sing Cuckoo. If he had sung Cuckoo, other fans would have wanted him to sing ____________. The list could go on and on. When Adam performed WWFM on AI during season 9, I remember fans bitching to high heaven about that! That performance ending up being the right move!  Slow. Clap. |
