Q3 - I think there are three possible reasons for this iTunes push by Adam 1) they are so close to the no 1 slot that they are nervous and want to be sure to nail it, OR 2) they know they have the top slot but don't want the "lowest since August" tag, OR 3) they want to be able to say to radio "he's No. 1 on Billboard and No. 1 on iTunes .....what the f*ck are you people not getting?" Personally I think it's number 2. It could be "insurance" but I doubt it. RCA has the numbers and they know. And with that tweet, I am pretty sure Adam knows he will be #1. I want to add a #4 ---- 4. Adam is excited that he is going to have a #1 album, and relieved and rightly proud. It is almost certain this will be a very low sales week for music in the US -- it trails Mother's Day, and is a low sales retail week in general. Not as low as it will get in July, but low. But yes, I want a bigger number too!! |

Morning!
OK, I am getting ready to make some purchases at iTunes.
(already have WalMart Delux (no autograph), Box Sex, and Fan Ed. from AO.
I need detailed in structions on how to purchase, since I already have the d/l from the AO site.
1) Do I "complete" the album (already bought NCOE & BTIKM) or do I purchase new album?
2) How many copies can I gift and how does that work? Uh, how do you do that?
3) When I get them in my iTunes account, should I copy over the d/l from AO that we got first?
Could somebody please pm me with this info?

Yesterday was so Bert-ful! My poor husband, who tolerates my Adam obsession even if he doesn't understand it, had a bit of an overdose of Adam yesterday. First, I've been talking about the album and how good it is. Then we were out at one of our big shopping malls yesterday, and he's confronted with a huge poster of Adam in the front window of HMV. Yay! Then we head over to the movie theater and WWFM is playing over the speakers in the theatre. Then later as we're heading home we turn on the car radio to hear the end NCOE and then the DJ goes on to talk about the trespassing contest they've just announced. Resistance is futile; Adam is everywhere!

I think it was brilliant that Adam plugged Bieber and Bruno in the Billboard interview, I hope he can capture the interest, buying clout, and buzz from those fan bases.
Anyone that knows any of the Bieber/Bruno fans, tweet them and tap into their fan base.

On iTunes --- the safe number is to keep the purchases within one account to 7 or fewer of the same number. So you can buy one and gift 6.

My view on #1 iTunes push - he wants to show off NCOE vid sneak peak and seeing he tied it to that... LOL but more likely wants the #1 and iTunes is easiest thing to push. Talk about ultimate validation, the theatre kid takes it to he top. Add to that how ground breaking it would be for LGBT community to have an out artist with #1 album.
Re the whole runnin as single thing in addition to my earlier comment l'll just say there are some great songs have never been singles pretty much for same reasons runnin will never be. NCOE is the single and as soon as it is released to radio here in oz I will be supporting it like mad.

When this picture (Adam in blue suit) first showed up people said it doesn't look like Adam and too much photoshop .. now they can see that picture and the live version of the picture and if they still say the picture used by Fantabuloso is not Adam they need to have their eyes checked ;D ;D  |
