Most of my favorite songs are not singles. And all of my favorite Adam songs are not singles -- most are bonus tracks.
But I got the most pleasant surprise when Adam chose a bonus track and one of my favs, Voodoo, as the opening song for GNL. In addition, he later said they should have put it on the album.
The biggest mystery to me is why they never released CLYG in the US -- they should have released a premium FYE package with everything in the US, in a box in 2010. I still think they do not understand Adam fans. And where is my vinyl FYE? And how about some nice Adam apparel????? (I am not a fan of T-shirts!! But I do like the jewelry.)

What we really need to do first is get his CD into the hands of every vulnerable LGBT teen, find the closest LGBT centers and gift. Music from an empowered, crazy-talented, amazing role-model. If anyone deserves it most, after everything our society puts them through, they do.

I like this list!! iTunes is the #4 retailer of albums -- they sell 68% of digital tracks in the US and are by far #1 on track sales. ETA: There is still time to gift an iTunes album and have it count for the Billboard 200.  |

Can you only download ITunes on an IPod? I can gift a few but don't know whether or not the people have IPods.

OK, this one time I dl'd Trespassing Deluxe from itunes. Too bad it doesn't include the itunes interviews like the first time around, but my physical cd never arrived. I felt I did my part. Bad fan that I am, I didn't get a chance to attend the NYC shows though I was in the neighborhood, RL commitments and all that, but cheered all those who went.
Finally catching up on vids, etc. Burrito - I laughed at your post in the AI thread because I couldn't watch AI live either. It was really great, and I appreciate his band even more.
I really like what he did in the Chicago concert, launching right into "Kickin in" and also the WWFM arrangement. Also, the breakdown on Cuckoo is awesome, almost, dare I say, jazzy. I like the live version of that better than the track. I like the track version of "Kickin in" and "Shady" better for now, but I'm sure the live versions will completely rock even more later. Thanks to the fan who taped, bad audio or not. She really took one for the team. I winced when he did the whole "Ladies and gentlemen" thing - can't take the theatre out of the kid, but love the band intros. His whole energy from the vids alone was off the charts. Effortless.
How do you think Adam picks the songs for radio concerts? Like he did Kickin in but not Naked Love? Curious.
It's strange, Adam's clothes are great and young and edgy, but sometimes when he's wearing the black jacket and black pants, I'm like, why are you wearing a pants suit from TJ Maxx??? I like the star shirt, at least the short sleeve one.
IF Adam makes #1 billboard, it will matter. Not just for the record books, etc., but bios about him still state that FYE debuted at #3. It'll be nice to have an upward trend, and I think if it's not #1, it'll be at least #2.

Speaking of bonus tracks, I think he should later release a collection of all bonus tracks - maybe with some live material (different arrangements of some songs would be nice). There really should be a way to get all tracks more sensibly than duplicating the regular edition tracks x-fold.
