Really? I never thought of it as sexual. For me, that just wouldn't "go" with the rest of the lyrics. Crazy day yesterday and missed that discussion. Actually, we had a discussion about this a few weeks back. Maybe when we first heard the snippets? Underneath is a very explicit song and yet it is not. Very complex lyrics if you read them like it was poetry. Many of the songs on Trespassing have lyrics that can be viewed on two levels. Runnin' is it about runnin' from love, or is it about struggling with sexual identity? Even Naked Love can be interpreted on two levels. It seems like just another pop song but look at the lyrics: Come on I want your naked love So don't you dress it up Tonight Come on You know you're naked love Is what I'm dreaming of Tonight ah ah ah Oooooooooohhhhhooooo Whoooooooaaaaaaaa Yeah yeah yeeh Oooooooooohhhhhoooo Whoooooooaaaaaaaa Yeah yeah yeeh Take it off And try me on The hottest threads You ever worn So ro-o-ol the dice Get up and feel the nightYeah I know you're holding back Yeah No more hesitation Come on I want your naked love So don't you dress it up Tonight Come on You know you're naked love Is what I'm dreaming of Tonight ah ah ah Oooooooooohhhhhooooo Whoooooooaaaaaaaa Yeah yeah yeah Oooooooooohhhhhoooo Whoooooooaaaaaaaa Yeah yeah yeah At a basic level it is a song about sexual abandon [Get up and feel the night], but it could also be interpreted as being about revealing oneself honestly and without cover. Now add in a few clothing references -- and you have a very clever song that is fun and yet has some real meaning. I think this song will eventually be a single and it deserves to be a hit. Um, Q3 that line is actually "Get lucky tonight" Adam just singing it like "lucky" is three syllables, Lu-uh-ky.

I don't ALWAYS succeed! I had a little research this morning and nothing about the t shirt! (Runs to search for the t shirt , I love it and I want to buy it) I think he has worn it before . I remember a pic of him and terrance around the time when they were shooting the NCOE vid . And he was wearing the same shirt . Think he will wear it in the music video ? Yes I made that comment yesterday when I saw the t shirt. It's very possible since it has so many colors and probably he's wearing at the end of the video.

Yes, yes, yes! I think your last post, Q3, sums up my feeling about the whole album, "It is Pop for adults." Many reviewers have said there are influences from Queeen, MJ, George Michaels, Robert Palmer (might be my favorite!) But none of them have mentioned P!NK. And for me this album is most like a P!NK album. Fun Pop songs, with a funky and Rock edge with amazing lyrics!!! Almost every song on Trespassing can be "taken" 2 ways! I have however been amazed at how many of these so called journalists don't see this. Several have said Chokehold is about S&M. Do they not "get" metaphors? Have they never heard someone say that someone or something has a "chokehold" on them and it does not literally mean a wrestling chokehold?! Don't these people have to have English degrees or Journalism degrees? :-/ "Get Lu-uc-ky tonight!"

We had a great time at the mini-listening party, the highlight of course was watching the live stream of the Boston concert on the big screen. I made sure my neighbor + DH came early so they can see him "live". She was very impressed and really liked him. Her DH, not so much. He doesn't like all the leather, boots, etc. She was very interested and intrigued with Adamtopia and even asked Cassie to show her the site and how to access it. She said that she will be buying his CD, and yes, the deluxe edition. YAY!!!! D, hope you are successful but if you need help with Adamtopia, just let me know and I will be over at your house in a heartbeat. You will find that being a Glambert is so much fun and will add years to your life! ahem... Pre-Adam Lambert:After three years of stanning:OMG, aint it the truth. We clean up good for concerts though.

Thanks for checking on the shirt I also looked. Maybe one of the singers would ask him if we tweeted them.

Welcome to my world of truth I don't wanna hide any part of me from you I'm standing here with no apologies Such a beautiful release You inside of me
I know we were talking about this yesterday or the day before. When I was first listening of course I thought of "Such a beautiful release, you inside of me" as purely sexual. Yesterday it struck me completely differently. Now I understand it as how liberating and beautiful it is for me to share all my secrets with you and now have you completely inside of me and knowing everything. Whatever he meant by it, it's a beautiful lyric. Really? I never thought of it as sexual. For me, that just wouldn't "go" with the rest of the lyrics. Crazy day yesterday and missed that discussion. Actually, we had a discussion about this a few weeks back. Maybe when we first heard the snippets?
Yeah, I know, shallow end, right?! I'm just now piecing all the lyrics together. There's so much to listen to -- so many layers and textures that it's just now all fitting together. I LOVE that it's so complex, he really deserves the great reviews.
