At a basic level it is a song about sexual abandon [Get up and feel the night], but it could also be interpreted as being about revealing oneself honestly and without cover. Now add in a few clothing references -- and you have a very clever song that is fun and yet has some real meaning. I think this song will eventually be a single and it deserves to be a hit. Naked Love is awesome on the album and even better live, and judging by crowd response yesterday, it is a fast favorite even on first listen. I'm sure Adam and his people are gauging crowd reaction to songs and this may factor into single choice down the road. I thought it was telling that Adam intro'd NL using the "revealing yourself honestly" PG interpretation. Smart. Yeah, I would love for Naked Love to be a single, it's just so fun and catchy. But I might be dreading it a little, because you fans are just going to go up in arms about another single being released that Adam didn't write : But then again, I think Benny Blanco maybe like Dr. Luke. You don't put him on your album unless there's a guarantee that his song will be a single.

Rob Sinclair@gribiche @marcd13 We have about 1000 cues in this show so far and we’re only half done.Rob Sinclair@gribiche Programming is the key to everything. You can do so much more clever stuff and make the show consistent.

The MTV clip will eventually be posted here: www.mtv.com/shows/10_on_top/series.jhtmlI have a link to a fan-made video of it but now I can't find it. Perhaps someone else has it. It was a link you need to have to see and doesn't show up with a YT search. Also an ATop member posted they DVRed it. I am sure it is floating around somewhere.

That video snippet looks incredible. It looks from this like my dream video for him – narrative, edgy, creating a whole, unique world with a specific look, etc. I can't wait!!
Last night I went to the largest concert I've ever been to – Roger Waters' "The Wall" tour at the L.A. Coliseum (capacity used to be 100K for sporting events, but now Google is showing it at 93,600 – still huge). I saw "The Wall" last December in a hockey arena and this being a football stadium, was a whole other situation. It transferred GREAT. The set itself (the Wall) stretched width-wise across the field and had to be more than 50 yards wide, tip to tip. It was at least 30 feet high.
Because the stage cut off about one-fourth the capacity and the seats directly opposite stage were obstructed (there were three giant structures that they project from). Adding all the seats on the field, I imagine there were probably between 50 and 60K there last night.
It started almost an hour late (had to be completely dark) and just when Waters does his huge entrance, he launches into his first song then screams, "Wait! Stop!!! Stop!!!" Everyone was confused and wasn't sure if it was part of the show but nope...
Dun, DUN, DUNNNN!!!
Sound issues. :-/ And man, he was not happy. He stopped the show dead in its tracks and they resolved whatever the issues were right then and there. (Took about five minutes.) He said the feed he was getting in his ear wasn't matching the sound on stage or something similar.
They fixed them though an the show went off without a hitch and the sound in that very old, very large stadium sounded incredible. I think it was only his feed that was off temporarily but he wasn't even going to pretend to try to pull it off until it was resolved.

So where is NCOE? I'll readily admit I don't really understand the numbers thread but I'm not seeing adds for it and I'm not hearing it on the radio. I don't see people here talking about hearing it.
I'm ready to toss in my media forms/requests this week because I feel alone out here in my enthusiasm for the song and for requesting it. Maybe I'll just stop and wait to see if any fan enthusiasm appears after the undoubtedly awesome video. [shrug]

NCOE is steadily, however very slowly, creeping up the charts . At this time, I seriously doubt that it's the Idol performance. If I remember correctly, even since the album came out, it has been moving up the chart, and it's still moving up at the same pace. At this point I think it's a combination of people liking the song, and the airplay that it has so far. I can't wait till radio really get behind this song, I think we're looking at a Top 10/15 hit, with maybe 1+mil in sales. I don't think so either. The boost from the show plays itself out by Saturday. Usually, the single starts to drop slowly Friday at some point and is dropping rather quickly by Saturday afternoon. NCOE actually was still moving up on Saturday morning and is now holding steady. Something else to remember, Glee was on hiatus for 8 weeks so those past singles from others didn't have the songs from Glee ahead of them or the Donna Summer songs that NCOE is competing with at the current time.
