I was surprised at the final figure too (if this is indeed the final figure). There was a BIG push the last day or two and it seems like "everyone" was gifting & buying more copies. Perhaps this happens with all fandoms & SS figures this in. LOL
What are we thinking about sales for next week? If KA & Haley are predicted to sell 15K - 20K I assume Adam's sales will be appreciably lower since he has been lower on iTunes than they are all week. And with their core fans buying hard copies I can't see him matching their sales this week in that area either. Whaddya think?
Just trying to be prepared. 
I wonder if certain sales got cleared out because people overbought. I know only a tiny number of fans did this, but I saw at least two fans saying they had gifted 'hundreds' of albums. According to the Billboard article it looks like these wouldn't be counted as sales for Soundscan (although RCA would of course get the money and they would count towards RIAA certification). However, I don't see how this would be different from any other fan group when estimating, so I don't really know. |

I think Adam will top Haley and Kris. I am now hoping he sells around 25K. Then, the idea is to stabilize somewhere around 10-15 for as long as possible. But, he is going to need radio/continued promo to do so. He will need to stabilize, though, at some point to keep the album on the charts. It really is amazing that FYE managed to stay on the BB chart for a year. It was amazing, indeed. I remember it needed one more week (or a couple) to complete the year. FYE levered at about 7,000/week and stayed at this mark for a looong time, but with the help of the radio. I really hope RCA got all of the important stations for the next week. |

iTunes numbers for today all times Eastern. The album is holding fairly steady on both itunes and amazon.

I was just ressearching the 9 #1s that Billboard was referring to and I discovered something cool! Guess what the date was that WWFM was the #1 digital song? (It was the week of his Idol appearance in 2010. May 15th!!! The Universe works in mysterious ways!OK, these are the 9 #1s:1) #1 album in the US this week - Trespassing 2) #1 DLed albumin the US - Trespassing 3) #1 album in Canada this week - Trespassing 4) #1 DLed album in the Canada - Trespassing The next 5 are all for WWFM5) #1 DLed song, 5/15/2010 6) #1 Hot Video Clip 3/6/2010 (I have no idea what this is!) 7) #1 Hot Adult Top 40 Recurrent 8) #1 Canada Hot 100 airplay 9) #1 Hot single sales <<< this one is confusing because the date is Sept. 2010. PS - As for multiple sales being discounted, the good Dr from Alaska said she gifted @1500. She seems pretty savvy so I hope she had some way of doing it so every sale counted. Her last minute gifts was one of the reasons I expected the total to be slightly higher than estimated. Of course she does this for many artists from AI.

New HAC spinners that have rapidly jumped on board. WWFS NYC KMXB Las Vegas And, KPSI Palm Springs, which just added last week, is also spinning quite a bit! It's a leader! The other 2 new adds Des Moines and Indianna, also spinning. Lookin good! And in CHR, Boston KIIS is a leader, which is a good sign. Means they haven't stopped spinning now that their radio concert is over. His CHR AI is 1.5 million  |
