I totally don't get that WW sales thing---although #5 does look good. Well, Chicago KISS appears to be only giving NCOE overnight spins now ( I think it got one spin last night). Honestly, you could see it coming; they were giving minimal spins leading up to Fantabuloso. Kinda stinks since I just watched that interview where the DJ was completely gushing. Anyway, it may not matter, but Chicago people PLEASE hit the station hard with requests next week. This station has never been a supporter, but if NCOE gets some big adds on Tuesday, maybe we can turn it around. I thought the reason for having an artist performing at these radio shows was in exchange for airplay on their station. The artist does something to help promote the station and the station does something to promote the artist. I guess I just don't get why KISS Chicago bothered to book him cause don't they want to book artists who represent the sound of their station? If you look at these radio shows, they spin the songs of everyone else on the line-up, why not Adam? AdamBomb tweeted this late this week that could be a good sign for Cumulus stations: Adam Bomb þ@adambombshow Congrats to our good friend @adamlambert on your #1 debut w/ Trespassing! Keep listening @i93dallas to hear it i93 is a CHR station in Dallas. Do the Cumulus stations still add en masse as opposed to Clear Channel? I took the above tweet to mean they would be starting to spin the song soon. |
