Love the lyrics of Hold On. Hate the production. It sounds like a pre Idol song and not one of the good ones.
Surprised, because I love Nikka and she probably had a hand in the composing. :-/
As anthems go, OOL was definitely the right choice!

I have never complained before about any song I have heard Adam sing, but I was thrown for a loop when I heard that one. I felt embarrassed for him and didn't want anyone to hear it. I would never leave because of a song, but it shook me. I have never heard him sing anything I thought was awful. It didn't sound like him, and he had some kind of accent going on. I need to stop and think before I jump and say stuff like this. I just read what I wrote and I hate it. I am glad it is on this "dark" website. Please don't hold it against me. I love Adam so much and I adore his voice. He could sing Happy Birthday and I would swoon.

I feel like I don't know this fandom anymore. Just saw a bunch of Glamberts patting eachother on the back for bullying someone off Twitter. Seriously? :dunno:

[/IMG] [/quote] Emotions are running very high in the US due to politics! In the past I have seen Glamberts call out other Glamberts, often making fun of them. (even on adamtopia occasionally) Clicks, pecking orders and whatever don't die easily. But it really is only a very few peeps. Check out most of the posters here and all of the lurkers  , a beautiful, loving community. It sort of bugs me when Adam focuses on some negative tweeter and feels he has to respond. Now if he was getting a lot of negative feedback, I get that, but when it is only a couple of crazies, not sure of his motive. I wonder if it at times it might fuel the drama. |

Because among other stuff she also told him to JUST SING, because that's what she's paying for. She didn't just tell him not to be political, she was plain nasty. And trying to reason with a person like that is not bullying. And all that is not a problem of "fandom" but social media and people who a clueless about basic things in life. |

I don't know if you've read his @ replies last night but he got tons of negative feedback, not just a few from a couple of crazies. IMO Adam was way too mild-mannered and polite. |

AFTER Adam replied to her , she replied back telling him in capital letters 'JUST SING!" Interpretation by me : DANCE MONKEY, DANCE!!!!! Then she went on telling him " I hope talking about your political views does not affect the tickets from your shows and I payed many times a lot of money to see you blah blah blah....." Interpetation by me : YOU OWE ME , I PAY YOU, YOU NEED MY MONEY, WITHOUT MY MONEY YOU'RE NOTHING , SHUT UP AND SING. DEEP DEEP INSULTS. What fans did? They told her (because she replied to Kirstey Alley about something concerning Romney and she told Kirstey Alley "thank you for speaking your truth" ) that it is OK when artists support the same ideas she supports but not OK when their political views are opposite to hers . She was not bullied and not torched. When she spoke she should be able to handle the truth. |
