Basically, I think RCA needs only to get the PD from Z100 on board. Forget about the others for the time being. Find out what song Z100 would play. Maybe they tried; maybe the station said NCOE; maybe they just aren't "into" Adam right now. Who knows? I do remember Z100 wanted Fever last era. Bad. At one point they had the video on their site as "the next single."
I say see if there is anything on Trespassing that Z100 would play. If there isn't mark this era done for the US and release Cuckoo internationally.

..  @aleksandrakv. How do you feel about Naked Love?  Timing is important though. Adam had his fingers crossed for a next single, and quote, " ... if I have my way." I do believe he is treated as an artist-in-development by RCA. The QUEEN gig is an interesting curve ball. I think people (including Adam) are waiting to see how they may capitalize on it. It's a unique situation, really .. not knowing the reception ahead of time. |

Adam keeps saying "this is only the beginning"...whatever this might mean...
..may be the BTIKM and NCOE are the "warm up" singles, just to get something super safe and boring on the alter of the super safe and boring psyche of he US radio... IDK... Adam sounds like a third single WILL HAPPEN... and everything else is so much better, be it TP, Cuckoo, or any other song...
... and there is no way to predict the effect of Queen connection...
I am optimistic! HE WILL WIN!

I am optimistic! HE WILL WIN! Nica, I just love your optimism and hope  RE 'this is just the beginning', I think he meant of the career. He's aware how long it took for many artists to reach desired places in music, Queen included. I believe Brian and Roger told him a lot about their own struggles with radio. I also think there will be the third single, and that it will probably be Cuckoo, because a) he sang it during radio promo, b) he hinted about having possible video ideas for the song I'm as optimistic as you. His career is ufolding quite nicely, imo. |

What actually has DMG been responsible for? Was it involved in the Queen gigs? Is it limited to management in the US? I've been under the impression that they too (along with RCA) have dropped the ball in promoting Adam because he's been MIA in the US pretty much. Am I being unnecessarily harsh? If they have been involved in UK promotion then I will enjoy my words tonight with a glass of pinot grigio.
Glad to see RCA Promo tweeted after the fact about Adam's "unbelievable performance in Kiev with Queen". Too little, too late?
