Well I think that the expired horse is well and truly thrashed again. I'm having it covered in stone and placed on the perimeter to keep watch. I might have to mull quite a bit more before responding to MWP, but will say sounds like Lynne's husband and I are quite attuned Junie Love Wallace S. - beautiful choice. Has Adam been mucking about with his eyebrows again? They looked a little Melvin-y to me. If it's because his regular Eyebrow person is in LA, it might be worth Adam footing the plane ticket. I've been watching Breaking Pointe and managed to miss the intro of first ep and therefore was hoping that the boy who keeps angsting (constantly) about following his gf or staying w his roommate was a ballet ménage a trois but turns out the roomie is his bro - um, hmm. This show needs the actual drama of any real dance company!! I do like the male soloist whose desperation to stress how straight he is provides for much entertainment. Musically - I'm thinking mash ups but I need to think some more.

EEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKK!!! Mika, I just refreshed and your avi disappeared...lol! Hope it wasn't me. And, lmao about having a stone guard horse and Adam mucking about with his eyebrows. You crack me up!! Just sent you a PM, also. ETA: Where are you seeing Breaking Pointe? I would love that show! Took ballet for many years when I was just a young pup.

To add to this, after listening to the CD, my son, the one who is a music dj/writer/producer, immediately turned to me and said, "I can't believe they have this song on here (referring to Shady) and they aren't putting it out as a single." Everyone seems to love Shady. That said, I hear you, Jazz.. All you can do is set the songs free and see what happens. Shady is a hit waiting to happen. Haven't heard or read anything but good things about it. Besides the inevitable "omg hes singing about a boy thats so weirddd :-[ i dun like it"s that is..

I really agree that Shady is a hit waiting to happen. It's definately my jam right now. And, I've never even thought about the fact that he's singing about a boy. Wonder how many other people notice that? Guess some do, but who knows? I'd love to list my favorites on Trespassing, but I never can decide. I have a favorite for every mood, and my moods change a lot....lol! But, Shady is right up there at the top of the dance tunes. And, some of the songs that I originally just liked a lot have become songs I love now. I wasn't too thrilled with NCOE or Naked Love (don't hate me...lol) at first. Watching Adam sing NL made all the difference in the world. He is so joyful when he sings it that I can't help but love it now.

Yep I think he has. I think he better take a larger entourage next time he travels. ;D tigerlily - Those quotes from MJ's were very interesting. I stopped going there because my skin is too thin for much of the Adam comments. Sadly I'm also missing some of the rational posts. My opinion of Shady - LOVE it! I've been a huge jazz fan all of my adult life (hence my name) and Shady definitely has a jazz vibe. But I'm going to say something here that might result in a barrage of rotten tomatoes. Shady is too good for pop radio! It has a certain sophistication and is not suited for those 9 yr old girls who love CMM and Bieber. NOT that everyone who listens to pop radio lacks musical sophistication - not saying that at all. But to be a hit on CHR I think the youngsters have to get on board. I admit to knowing very little about CHR so if I'm wrong I'd love someone with radio savvy to tell me. Because I would be so happy to see Shady as a successful single on top 40.

I never post at MJ's anymore, but about a yr. and a half ago I tried to post about the "Idol bias" and how, basically, Idol alums just aren't "cool enough" for CHR. I was totally shot down, lol. I could see the change in HAC, as well, with WTMX. The Mix had always been SO Idol friendly, but a couple years ago things started to change. They stopped giving much attention to anyone who wasn't Kelly. Funny thing is, WTMX is totally embracing Phillip Phillips, so I really don't get it. Unless his song is that good; or Interscope has that much influence.
Regarding Trespassing, I think almost any song in the front half could be a "hit waiting to happen" if it could only get big radio daytime exposure. That's the catch.

Have nothing germane or even German to say, except I enjoy the deep, dark end so much. On a silly note, my brain always reads Olly Murs as OILY Murs, more of a Monty Python take--Life of Oily.
The only thing that keeps coming to mind about Adam is something I pray for daily--patience. I'm hopeful that the snowball is gathering momentum to burst upon us--and I don't mean the snowball in hell!
Carry on...

bullsfan: I posted my thoughts on P2 in the number's thread, but basically what it comes down to is that in two years the story will be different for him. The Idol bias comes into play during the second era.
MJs is usually a big pile of butthurt, but there was an actual decent discussion in the numbers thread a few days ago. Most of the quotes were from Adam and Cook fans who have gone through the second era now. There are some Cook fans who are realistic and not bitter. Of course, there is still that one who makes it their mission to blame Adam for Cook's problems, but most of the Cook fans who are left had interesting things to say in that number's thread.
There will always be those few Idol butthurt fans, but now that Cook and Kris have done so poorly, most of their BH fans have toned it down on Adam. Also, since most of the extreme unrealistic Adam fans have toned it down due to realism hitting them in the face- the whole blog has calmed down.
