I don't know if my heart can handle this all. Adam's #1 and my son came home with the best Mother's Day present - he got an 86 in his High school final exam for physical science (He's in 8th grade). For those of you who know him, his background and his disabilities, this is one fucking major accomplishment. He said go to Angel for school and see your Mother's Day present!!!! My heart started racing more, in addition to my current flailing mode for Adam's #1 position on Billboard. Heart be still, or a least slow down!!!! Gotta sit back and get ZEN. This is fantastic news for you and your son! Congratulations!! You both busted your butts for this. |

But seeing the hate out there. Searching Adam Lambert just to see what's going on on Twitter and seeing there, in public, crazy hate. Knowing that hate is legitimized every day by radio PDs who are reluctant to play Adam's records. Knowing that hate is this giant barrier that Adam has to overcome despite having the best voice in pop music today. Well, for once, I'm going to support dwelling on the gay It's ridiculous no openly gay person has never had a #1 album. Because certainly plenty of gay people have. One day "openly gay" won't even be a phrase. Because there will be nothing to hide. |

Way back at the beginning of the thread, but am experiencing the same difficulties getting the vids to show up here.. the vids show up as black squares and some don't even show up at all. Not sure what the problem is as this only started happening yesterday. I'm on Firefox, and had to switch to Safari to watch the AOL Sessions.. Adam and band sound fantastic!
