It has been a long time that many of us have carried the torch. For many of us, it all started on 3 years, 5 months and 2 days ago.

Today is #1 T-Eve. No it is not certain. Nothing is in the music business. But I have decided to believe --- like in Peter Pan: “I believe”.

So for one day, I am changing the Adamtopia rules. No restraint of freely expressed opinions but I am asking everyone here to send out positive thoughts.

I have learned a lot over the past 3+ years. I have learned that people who sound like they know what they are posting about can cause doubt and fear – on purpose. I have learned that some people will be negative and hate-filled yet still smile as if they were fans. I have learned not to waste my energy thinking about them. It does not make my life or theirs any better.

But mostly, I have learned a lot about myself. I know that my opinion and the opinion of every other Adam fan matters and does not need to be validated.

I have learned to trust my ears and know when music reaches my soul.

I have learned that all the hours of work and requesting and softly introducing people to Adam’s music may have helped just a bit. But that none of the time and effort I spent battling with faceless doubters about Chart A or Sales Stat B was worth anything.

So today --- #1 T-Eve is a milestone. I plan to celebrate. It is a day for joy.

Tomorrow, we can all go back to reality but for one day, I am not taking the blue pill (reference to The Matrix). I am staying totally in the now and accepting reality. Adam F Lambert is tracking to have a #1 album, and he is doing it without compromising who he is and what he believes in.

And what if Trespassing is number 2 in sales units? I doubt it but, in that unlikely event, it will still be #1 to me.
