I don't know if my heart can handle this all. Adam's #1 and my son came home with the best Mother's Day present - he got an 86 in his High school final exam for physical science (He's in 8th grade). For those of you who know him, his background and his disabilities, this is one fucking major accomplishment. He said go to Angel for school and see your Mother's Day present!!!! Eddie is a sweet boy ... I know he (and you) worked hard for this. Congratulations to both of you ... he won the lottery when he got you for a Mom! |

In other news, we just said dang. t.co/3SVCb0X7 Adam Lambert has released a teaser trailer for his upcoming music video Never Closer Our Eyes and is looking tough and futuristic in the short clip. As the second single off Lambert’s sophomore disc Trespassing, the full video for Never Close Our Eyes is set to be released any day now. In the teaser clip, Adam is seen running through halls with a group of friends in what looks like an attempt to avoid uniformed soldiers who are chasing the group. Cameras follow the ‘rebels’ as they move through hallways, dressed in t-shirts and running shoes. Lambert’s Brave New World-theme video even includes the singer in a machine that looks like it’s going to scan his retina’s for easy tracking by the soldiers. Thirty seconds in and I’m already hooked on this video! Check out Adam Lambert’s sneak peek for Never Close Our Eyes below. OMG NEW TEASER AND I CANT WATCH IT!!!

Perfect quote, jazzrocksNormally, I am of the "enough with the gay "school of Adam Lambert publicity, interviews, and articles. But seeing the hate out there. Searching Adam Lambert just to see what's going on on Twitter and seeing there, in public, crazy hate. Knowing that hate is legitimized every day by radio PDs who are reluctant to play Adam's records. Knowing that hate is this giant barrier that Adam has to overcome despite having the best voice in pop music today. Well, for once, I'm going to support dwelling on the gay It's ridiculous no openly gay person has never had a #1 album. Because certainly plenty of gay people have. One day "openly gay" won't even be a phrase. Because there will be nothing to hide.  |

Hi all I wanted to post a good little Adam related story on today's beautiful thread of lightness and love. I'm sitting at the hair salon getting highlights and reading Atop. Only on page 8 or so and have already cried like 3 times. So much beauty! So here's my little story. As I said, I'm reading Atop while I'm getting highlights. My hairdresser sees the snippet of Adam singing (from the youtube link / Michael Slezak post) and she exclaims (for all to hear mind you) "is that Adam Lambert? I love him!" So I told her yes it was and explained that I was reading Atop. She said she saw him on Idol last week and wanted to get his new song.... Something about closing your eyes. :-) She was very excited to tell me he was coming to Des Moines for the Waterworks park festival. (Pssst, i've had my ticket for a week:-) Anyway, a couple other people in the salon chimed in about going to the concert and how it sounds like a good line-up. The conversation moved on to this year's Idol and who would win. My hair is almost processed and after my cut and style, my hair dresser Abbey is about to receive what is sure to be her first tip/cd combo... Because like any obsessed Adam Stan, I happen to have a spare copy of -- the soon to be announced Billboard #1 -- Trespassing in my purse. :-) Btw, Abbey is in her mid-twenties. Gotta run. :-)
