The Grammys need an artist that captures people's ears and their hearts. Music needs an icon. It doesn;t need to award safe music like LA. Adam, get on a mission. Don't get on a mission to win a Grammy. Get on a mission to produce and create music that really makes people want to listen to music again. Adam"s is thinking in the right direction. He wants his next albut to be heartfelt. Take that angel voice and create songs and music that pierce people's hearts and send a message. You can do it. Just don't over think it. Just be. Love this post, readon. Agree completely. Down't worry about what anyone else is doing, don't overanalyze. I think I'm going to have to turn in now. But it's been a fun day--because of all of you. Arcade Fire has some really good songs like Neighborhood #1-Tunnels. But I cannot stand listening non stop to their entire album in one sitting . Their lyrics are like poetry but the music, the beat, the sound... starts sounding like a dirge....
Pink Floyd is something else .... you can get immersed in their music and emerge a month later.... Comfortably Numb is one of the All time Best songs for me .....
And talking about suburban angst.... whatever happened to Adam's Suburban Decay ?
