We are predominantly female, but we have a few brave and valued evolved men here as well. We come from around the globe, and quite a number have English as a second language, who we value when we need a global perspective or a translation. We are age 18 to ??? 68? 78? 108? Wisdom comes in many sizes, shapes and ages. We have stay at home recluses and world travelers. We are teachers, mathematicians, engineers, artists, marketers, scientists, astrologers, and just about any other vocation/avocation you can think of. So, you will fit in somewhere. Or add a new, unique perspective.
So, dive in the deep end, or splash in the shallow. Welcome.

PLEASE HELP  Have to deal with a friend today who had surgery (am chauffer) so am popping in to ask for info. Am confused on Grammy schedule. I know Adam's category isn't televised, right? So are the pre show live streams mentioned on atop first page showing his category? If this is posted somewhere, sorry! I am on iphone & can't read through so many pages right now. I've got my DVR set to record red carpet stuff on E! & Gammys. Just hoping to find out about what's online. THANKS!!!!  |

What am I doing wrong? This is the third time I have tried to write this request. After I finished my posts I was editing for spelling errors, I put the cursor on a spot and my whole message just flew off the screen...twice! I am writing this request in a word doc and will paste to the reply box to avoid a repeat disappearing act. MY REAL QUESTION IS... Is there any soul out there who uses ImageShack to load your avi? I could use your help. You are welcome to pm me to keep our positive thread going!! In advance – my thanks! I tried Q3’s instructions yesterday and today and I am obviously doing something wrong. I open up Modify Profile I paste this Direct Link (below) from ImageShack ...to... Avatar URL box (idoes the link look okay?) img830.imageshack.us/i/adamawards.jpg/ I type in .... 100 by 100.... in the next 2 boxes Avatar width and height. I press “modify profile “ on the bottom left corner AND VOILA! Nothing Does the KB of a picture make a difference? The avi I used on the last site was 236KB, the link above is 78. I am using this other avi link today as imageshack has shunned me, and is discriminating against my pictures as it only likes to load a certain few. Yesterday imageshack worked fine! As long as there is no ACCOUTREMENT on his shoulder I will be content. OH, HELLS NO, Aspen! There can be no dissing of the burnt balls of (?) on his shoulders!! I freakin' LOVED that weird thing. I must have watched that vid 20 times just to try to figure out what the hell it was!  I watched through splayed fingers thinking, "What the hell is that?" and laughing uproariously. One of the fun things about being an Adam fan is never knowing what he is going to say or wear next. Some things I love, some not as much, but God bless him he keeps us entertained. I for one am of the mind that I'm allowed to comment but not think my comment holds any sway. I actually talked to the computer screen during the Social Media broadcast when he insituated he would allow his fans to have input into his wardrobe. Bull!! Why should he? He knows who he is, how he feels, and what image he wants to portray at any given time. Not only that, we can't agree on what we like or don't like on this website so why would we think there a unified opinion on Adam's wardrobe? Sorry, that was long but can't edit till I go do a few things then get back for 3:30 Red Carpet. I've been lurking for 18 months but had to sign up because got tired having to type my name every time yesterday. |
