Post a little, post a lot, as long as you love Adam and believe in his philosophy of positivity and spreading good karma to others, you are more than welcome. We are predominantly female, but we have a few brave and valued evolved men here as well. We come from around the globe, and quite a number have English as a second language, who we value when we need a global perspective or a translation. We are age 18 to ??? 68? 78? 108? Wisdom comes in many sizes, shapes and ages. We have stay at home recluses and world travelers. We are teachers, mathematicians, engineers, artists, marketers, scientists, astrologers, and just about any other vocation/avocation you can think of. So, you will fit in somewhere. Or add a new, unique perspective. So, dive in the deep end, or splash in the shallow. Welcome. Great post, Cassie, but lest any lurker feel intimidated, some of us are also unemployed! Silver lining--more time for Adam and constant inspiration to work toward the next metamorphosis and trust that good things will happen!

I have watched the Grammys many times, but never ever felt this much excitement. It is hard to concentrate. I really don't think Adam will win, but my hopes for him is that he does as Paula said.....takes it all in and enjoys every moment. He so deserves that. So nice to see everyone finding us here

Finding black on purple kind of hard to read. I didn't do anything to my profile preference so I'm hoping this isn't a permanent change that I can't fix.

I have half white background, half dark purple. Even my post is dark purple. How can I change it when it is half and half. I had my face 6 inches from the screen to even read black on purple. Help

I'd like to thank Adam not only for his incredible talent, style, and presence but for his dogged and consistent defense of his fanbase. During and right after idol the Glamberts were unfavorably compared to the Claymates ad nauseam. I don't think I ever heard anything positive about the Claymates from media. They were consider BSC and a severe detriment to Clay's career. Their reputation stunk to put it mildly. There were comparisons drawn between Claymates and Glamberts early on and interviewers in the beginning tried very hard to get Adam to denigrate his fans. Many celebrities tend to go along with the negative portrayal that the media likes to promote regarding BSC fans. Clay certainly didn't do anything of significance to defend his fanbase. Adam however never ever went along with this meme. He consistantly and determinedly defended his fans changing the interviewers characterization to passionate, loyal and loving and an important support of who he is as an artist. I noticed that it didn't take long at all for the most negative comments to subside and over time the fanbase portrayal in the media became more and more positive. I think the characterization of fans as older women took longer to subside than that of crazy people. In the last few months the media has more often than not used Adam's terms of passionate and loyal rather than crazy to describe the Glamberts but more importantly the tone of the comments have been that of awe and respect. We have become a big plus to Adam's career recognized as such by the media as well as being recognized as a force for good due to the charitable contributions that Adam has inspired. I truly don't think that shift would have happened had Adam not been so consistent in his defense of us. Beautifully said. Subconsciously I think I had noticed because I did not cringe every time I heard the word "fan" but thank you for vocalizing it. Yeah us!!! Love your post!

Wooooo! This is the first time I've been online while Q3 is "playing" with colors. Hard for me to read with dark background...but, HOLST--seeing your name reminds me--re: gay-free intros to Adam--your comment about ROUND 2--YES, that's what it feels like!! May he go many, many rounds and win them all!!

Minding my own business, slooowly going thru the threads when...
EVERYTHING went purple and white stripey on me!
What's up w/that? Did I hit something my mistake?
ETA: Okay, feel better now, I see it happened to others. Off to investigate.

Help I went into my profile and changed the skin to "light." It's a very light gray background, much easier on my eyes than the brilliant white - and no purple!!

If you find it difficult to read just "Edit >File >Select all" until she changes it back.
