Q ~ for your list of firsts for Adam: - First Openly gay artist to be signed to a major record label - First AI artist to have a world tour in support of their first album - First AI artist to have a concert DVD in support of their first album Did any other AI artist get a grammy nom on their first album? #1 is only in the US, by they way and is actually not true although widely reported. I thought it was true for a year or so, but learned it is not true. Happened at least 2 times in the past. |

I think it's great how Sony's business PR included Adam as a moneymaker. Can't hurt to have the bigwigs on your side, especially during return on investment budget discussions!

HISTORY Not to be petty but I wonder why the banner on the home/news page which I think shows the pictures of the #1 artist in the various charts still shows Carrie and not Adam. |

When you are running a multimedia business, there need to be scheduled times for updates to be sure nothing is missed. Probably not time for update for banner, or they have a promo deal with Carrie's peeps.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY riley2, sandadorara, sandado, AND cloex75!!.... Don't mean to sound like a broken record, but I'm still wondering why we saw no increase in units sold after the final HDD building chart. At the time people were saying that HDD accounts for "85%" of soundscan reporters and DOESN'T include Amazon.....The final tally leads me to believe that's not the case, in fact the number went down several hundred units. Still thrilled with his sales....I'd just like to know the answer to the Amazon part of the equation for future reference.
